I'm thinking of cancelling Netflix. I prefer to follow this never ending season of the Trump show. No subscrition needed, such rich storyline, plot twists and genuinely good and diverse cast. The only problem is that we may all die but at least it will be entertaining.

The Democrats need to seize on that and point out that while it may be what they wanted during last year's campaign, the Democrat in the White House had enough integrity not to fire the FBI Director while he was in the middle of investigating a former member of his administration.

Impeachment is the least of his worries, and it's not gonna be president Pence, he was the one in charge of the transition. He had to have known something too. Drag this out to 2018 and a Dem speaker will be president.

Obama had three months to fire Comey (after the infamous letter), but he didn't. I heard critique of Comey's letter, but not many calls from Democrats for his dismissal (certainly not from leading figures).

Obama quite rightly didn't want to be seen to be interfering with the investigation. This president does not care though.

2. Trump is currently exploiting his position by going to one of these Golf Resorts every single weekend and his business is profiting from government money. He even hiked all the prices as soon as he won the election.

3. The Trump businesses are therefore very likely using US Government Money to service loans taken out from Russian groups highly likely to be linked to the Russian Government.

Basically he could be funnelling US Government Money directly to Russian Government Officials.

Now surely even the slightest chance of this being true would be a big enough reason to subpoena all his Tax returns?

Trump refusing Obama's advice about Flynn is like the times City went after players just because the media stated that we were after them - a pointless, pathetic 'win' to please supporters.

Yes, I think that he did the right thing. Firing Comey back then would be seen as trying to silence him on the email controversy (before the election) or "punishing him" (after the election).

It's both to be quite honest. The truth would eventually come out no matter how far Trump goes to hide it. The FBI, NSA and CIA are all investigating him and his campaign. The walls are closing in and he knows it.
