People like Trump made out very well after the recession and were richly rewarded for their fraudulent practices. There was no recession for these people, just a massive transfer of wealth. Another thing, people think trump is so smart yet forget that he started his own mortgage company just before the recession when everyone knew at that point the industry was on the crest of a wave that was about to crash upon the backs of regular people. For arguments sake, assuming that is actually a fact, wouldn't that be Obama vs George Bush II, seeing as there is no way in hell each president has had enough time to make changes that would effect the national debt by any sort of margin?
Don't they realise how thick they are tho? Rather than hope for an improvement for themselves and others, they just want to see a group of people they disagree with go thru some shit.
Muhammad Ali's son
One Indian Engineer was shot and killed and another injured in Kansas. Apparently, the shooter wanted to know what visa they were on and where they worked. Also shouted 'Go back to your country' while shooting. The assailant was an in the military as well and worked as an Air traffic controller. Matter of time before the Indian community came under scrutiny and attacks due to the jobs.
Everybody thinks that we get shot because we look like Arabs, but the majority of Indians are legal immigrants and earn money and pay taxes. We also integrate better than Middle eastern communities, so for long we've been liked by Republicans. To my knowledge, many Indians are right leaning because of the lower tax. The problem is, when hate is kindled by rhetoric, it can't be contained by logical thinking. At least, 'Hindus for Trump' and 'Indian Christians for Pence/Bible values' can take a pleasure dump daily.
Hmmm.
You don't integrate better than 'middle eastern' communities.
A certain class of Indians have come to the US - as such, you've been more educated and wealthy...You are doing better than Pakistanis and Bangladeshis.
Even then, integration is NOT an issue in the US...it is a problem in Europe and the subcontinental divide is most obvious in the UK.
But, you need to educate yourself as to how far back 'middle eastern' immigration goes in this country.
Look at how intertwined the Iranian community is in Cali and I'm not even going to bother talking about Arabs and Detroit - that goes back 150 years
Indians get shot because they're brown and the racist feckers doing the shooting and beatings don't take the time ask...oh that turban is a Sikh thing or you're Hindu and not muslim.
Not the 1st time Indians have been attacked in the US, this happened a lot right after 9/11.
Lastly, despite...Hindus for Trump...Hindu Coalition for Trump...the vast majority of American Indians - including the tens of thoudands of Indian Muslims vote Democrat.
Don't project your shit on to me. There is nothing in my post that can be construed as India v Pakistan.Perhaps it's better not to sidetrack the point of this thread by having another India vs Pakistan in this thread as I've seen how defensive you get as soon as something about India is posted.

excellent video at the bottom
http://www.hillarybeattrump.org/It’s just over a month into Hillary Clinton’s historic presidency, and Milo Yiannopoulos works as a Starbucks barista, the Koch brothers have fled the country and the first woman to occupy the Oval Office is the sober, exacting policy wonk that millions of Americans expected.
Her approval ratings are skyrocketing, her news conferences “oppressively intelligent,” “boring” and “too sane.”
And her vanquished political opponent, Donald Trump, is on the verge of being charged with treason by the Department of Justice.
The Koch brothers are interesting - they aren't in the Trump camp and are NOT fans. Particularly when it comes to immigration and the criminal justice issue.
Speaking to 550 donors who give more than $100,000 (£80,000) a year to right-wing political and policy groups backed by the billionaire Koch brothers, industrialist Charles Koch warned the US was facing a moment of “tremendous danger” – although he did not mention Mr Trump by name.
But the free-market billionaire and his team are set to clash with the President on issues including the introduction of border taxes, hints of a massive new infrastructure program, and his controversial ban on refugees and immigrants from seven mainly Muslim countries, according to Time magazine.
During the presidential campaign, Mr Koch likened Mr Trump’s plan to ban Muslim immigrants to something Adolf Hitler would have done in Nazi Germany.
The Koch network, one of the most powerful conservative groups in America, plans to spend up to $400m (£320m) on campaigns exerting political influence over the next two years, up from $250m (£200m) during the 2016 elections.
“We’re principled, and if we can’t get comfortable with the policies that are in place, then we’re not going to support them,” said Mark Holden, Koch Industries’s top lawyer, according to the Washington Post.
Congress members, many of whom owe their election victories to campaign money, activist groups and ballot data systems provided by Mr Koch and his allies, could come under pressure to align themselves with the group over Mr Trump in key policy battles.
Nicely written piece. 'Richard Spencer, the Baldur von Schirach of getting clocked in the face...'
It's going to be Tom Perez - this cycle just came too soon for someone like Buttigieg
Thank feck for that, the comedy is the only thing we've got with this president.Just their afterparty, I think.
Nah...Perez had way more people locked up early on. Ellison will have strong support, but Perez is going to win this...Ellison pls.

Fundraises and acts as a spokesperson, basically. How important is the role of the DNC chair? What does this person actually do?

In fact, I clearly stated
That's not someone being defensive, but someone stating the facts. Indians are doing better than Pakistanis and Bangladeshis - I was praising Indians ffs I went on further to say, this Indian success is even more obvious in Europe and particularly the UK... where Indians are miles ahead of the Pakistani and Bangladeshi community (hence the mention of subcontinental divide).
There was NOTHING anti Indian in my post and certainly NOTHING Pro-Pakistani.
You seriously need to work on your comprehension.
EDIT: Oh and I was the 1st person to bring up the plight of these poor Indians in this thread

What's embarrassing is the wailing, the gnashing of teeth, the pearl clutching, and back-slapping fraternity in this thread.
And like a pack of hyenas they will descend upon this post...
(leaves to protect sanity)
@Neutral
Pls take this debate into a different thead!!!! (do we have a Asia sub continent thread - that would be fun to bash for a while!)
Buy yeah, don't derail this thread please!
