In the replies, someone alludes to him already deleting a tweet since he has been President. I must have missed that one, anyone have any idea what it was about?

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump 1 day ago

♫Who is the man that would risk his neck for his brother man?
(Trump!)
Can ya dig it?
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?
(Trump!)
Right on...♫
...

Read as per the fresh prince of bel air theme tune...

Now this is a story all about how
The world got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
Just sit right there
I'll tell you all about the prick with the ridiculous hair

I was to a billionaire, born and raised
In the bankruptcy courts I spent most of my days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin', a fool
And all groping some pussy outside of the school
With a couple of guys who were wearing the hood
I started blaming latins in your neighborhood
I dissed this disabled guy, but nobody cared
They said, “He’s movin on the White House, but we’re still not scared.”

I whistled for a limo and when it came near
The license plate said "Trump" and it had gold in the mirror
If anything I could say this ride was fine
But I thought, "I’ve got billions"
– "I’m elite, it’s all mine."

I pulled up to the White House at 7 or 8
And I yelled at the driver, "Go home, migrant labor."
I looked at my kingdom
With the world in despair
To sit on my throne as the Prick with the hair

For fecks sake, The moron is using the "President Trump@POTUS" account to retweet the shit he is spouting from his "@realdonaldtrump" account.

He truly is shameless. Imagine if Obama had ever done that, he would have been crucified for it.

I like how any criticism of Republican policy inevitably doesn't have an actual rebuttal defending them, but instead usually diverts onto something their opponents have done instead.

To be fair, that is just politics in general.

I'm sure this video has been posted already, no?

:lol::lol:

Protests held quite strong first time, hopefully they can at least can some disruption again this time.

I think this is the difference between Clinton and Trump:
Obama would not have stopped the DAPL, or done something more temporary, if she had been voted.
Once she came to power, she would try and proceed with the pipeline, and the final decision would be made based on the persistence and strength of the protests.
Since Trump won, Obama decided to force him to "make a public statement", so he stopped the construction. Trump has now re-started it, and IMO will continue regardless of protest intensity.

Oh yeah, I'm under no illusion it'll continue but protesters should aim to be as disruptive as possible and bring as much attention to their cause as they can. Again, like I said, things like the march at the weekend are all well and good but until people protesting actually disrupt the government or cause the police to resort to violence, they're not going to achieve a lot.

Good chance any DAPL protesters will get fcuked up this time around, not that I'm saying don't protest... I just think the gloves will be off

As awful as it'd be for them they're going to need stuff like that to happen if they want to get anywhere.

Yup, as always... Utmost respect for them, and tbf, I'd protest too

Yep, it's awful, but if you've got a hardline administration intending to do awful things then if you want to provoke change then you either have to force the government into action against you, thus making you an oppressed force, or you have to do something like withdraw labour on a large scale.

It was nearly 4 years ago when he had virtually no followers.

I know that it was from 4 years ago. I saw the date on the tweet when I replied. He might not have had the number of followers then as he has now, but he might still have been joking then. And I think he had at least a thousand followers then. He was communications director and spokesperson for the House Budget Committee. After that, he was a senior strategist and media director for the GOP.

On reflection, Trump's decision to restart the KXL and DAPL make sense, not just from a short-term perspective.

With an America First policy, it is right to look at the overall picture: the impact of AGW on the US is minimal, mostly people in the tropics will die, while the cost in switching over is high, not just for his donors and oil companies, but for the US economy in general. The alternative would be to make the US a global centre for alternative energy, but China's cheap solar panels already have a strong head-start.
Due to its geographical isolation, combined with the nationalist politics currently in fashion, the US will also have no problem in keeping out physically and politically the refugees created by a few more decades of global warming.

Edit: In a time dominated by gender politics and debates on healthcare/the economy, climate change simply isn't a popular enough vote issue to harm the GOP (this will only harden non-GOP voters). Further, native land rights too are not important to popularity within the GOP base.

Yeah, feck the world. Who gives a shit! Let's all be selfish wankers.

Precisely the attitude that will be the downfall of the Human Race.

Not the human race. We are divided into nations, it will damage tropical countries.
Leaders are accountable to their voters and population, not the "human race." I hate the man and the thought of this, but it is rational.

Overall climate change and similar issues will still have a massive, massive effect on the US coastal cities. Ones in Florida especially. The US might not need to worry as much as some places but if they suffer runaway effects (if it gets that bad) it'll be game over for them as much as everyone else.

No it's a fecking disgrace. You're condemning countries to destruction because it won't effect 'them'.

It's not rational in the slightest, all it's doing is helping this generation with no thought to future generations. Which obviously fits with Trump, given it's all about him.

You´re very wrong when you say it will only damage tropical countries. If the temperature rise continues then its just a matter of question when Europe and North America gets hit bad as well if it ain´t stopped in time. ALL humans are accountable for the planet we live on regardless of nationality as nature don´t care about abstract ideas such as countries and can cause damage to all of us. This means we do have a collective responsibility to take care of the planet we share together.

If we accept the line of thought that climate change is inevitable and it's too late to alleviate the problem, then the cold hearted, clear mind solution is to let the people of the most affected areas die and concentrate the resources on protection and continuation of the race, as well as reservation of cultures and knowledge.

Of course, the nukes throw a spanner into that argument. As nations compete for scarce resources, the threat of nuclear Armageddon becomes more and more pronounced.

But but he'll cut Bannon loose.

Yup, I forgot Florida. Good point.

I'm not passing moral judgement. I'm saying from a "America first" P.o.V., it sortof makes sense. Florida is a good point though, I concede.

fecking wow. In that case please let the Zombies come and wipe us out and be done with it.

@RedSky
My home is a city that is in red on that map. I don't like this idea. I just think it makes sense, for some people.
