The worst bit is that so many people are going to watch him doing that and think that it was an amazing move and that he sure showed them 
It’s not a “miracle” for the GOP if they hold onto the Senate. It’s any one of McSally, Gardner, Collins, or Tillis’ seats being held, and GOP are favourites to pick up Alabama. Then the Dems are really looking around for somewhere to flip it.
I’m not saying the Dems won’t get a majority in the Senate, though I wouldn’t bet much money on them getting more than 50, but to dismiss the GOP chances as “needing a miracle” just isn’t true.
It would be interesting to look at seats available in 2022. Often a party can be very fortunate in timing here, as in which seats are up for grabs when.

Trump has done this for years. There are at least half a dozen interviews I have seen (including a famous BBC one) where he just storms off when he faces a question he doesn't like or can't answer.

2022 is quite good for Democrats. But over 2.5 years everything can change. So the hope is for them to win back the Senate in this cycle.
I am not trying to equate Jose with Trump. Nothing Jose has done comes to even close to what Trump is doing. I meant the press and Jose.
Thing is, its not even his racist tendencies, he fecking hates being called out by any strong female reporter. The fact that she was from a racial minority is probably what drove him to walk out.

Indeed. 2018 was really bad map for Democrats. Despite losing 2 seats, it was an okayish result that would allow them to regain the senate. It could have been much worse.
I still think he’ll get re-elected but those press conferences can’t possibly be helping him?!
His peeps will just see it as further proof that the deep state is out to get him. His battle needs to continue until he wipes them all out ie start praising him.
He cannot won by just pleasing the MAGA crowd. And in any case, no point on preaching to the converted.
In order to win, he must get the votes of right-wing leaning centrists, and even some Obama-Trump voters. I do not see how these conferences and the entire corona pandemic has helped him. Not surprisingly, Biden is now comfortably leading in the polls, while a few months ago it looked that Trump will easily win the election.

Yeah, I think the takeaway from 2018 was those results made a Dem Senate majority unlikely in 2020 (we’ll see) but opened the door re 2022. If I recall correctly.
