Point is that there isn't a border crisis. So we really don't need a wall to solve anything.
There are obviously incidents and issues with the southern border but not only is that nothing new it is demonstratably in better shape now that in previous years. Whereas climate change, gun deaths, wage stagnation, the disappearance of the middle class, retail drying up and the complete disintegration of civil discourse are all issues getting worse. I'd much rather power and money be thrown at those than some stupid wall which is only a talking point because nothing scares a proud white American more than a f*cking brown person.
