Personally I don’t think it means a great deal.

The Mueller “report” is only half the puzzle. The real report is immutable and insuppressible in the form of sealed indictments and court filings. It’s already been pointed out that everything the SC files in court is out of the hands of the AG and is inescapably public property and he appears to be making sure the story is detailed as much as possible.

Here’s a conspiracy for you, by all means take it with a bucket of salt... It’s also been pointed out that Barr is a good personal friend of Mueller and has been for decades. They barbecue together and their wives are very close. This came as a big surprise to Trump who only found out when he had already nominated him off the back of his criticisms of the investigation and suggested that a sitting president couldn’t be indicted. Maybe the whole thing was a ruse and Mueller has his guy in there looking after his investigation. It’s virtually impossible for Trump to dispose Barr at this point if Barr was refusing to impede the investigation for him.

Can't see that happening unless he starts some kind of nuclear armageddon, always a possibility with that smeg head. It's a tough one - nuclear armageddon or another year of trump, which is less desirable?

I heard from someone else too that it was a shock to Trump.

Barr is never going to fall on the sword for Trump. He will know Trump is toast by now.

And Yes. Mueller can take whatever time he needs with his report. It cannot be amended by even a word.
The House will get the full report.
 
Trump trying to wriggle out. When the courts thell him to feck off, he'll go to his base and say he tried his best.
