Reference to Bill Clinton and NAFTA gutting the manufacturing industry?

Want to know a secret?

It was George H. Bush who negotiated and signed the agreement. It got ratified and signed into law under President Clinton. It was viewed as an early victory for Clinton since he supported the agreement. Republicans in congress who voted for it, outnumbered Democrats who did.

Things are seldom as straight-forward as they seem.

Why do they cheer so much? I could never do it. Timid applause is the most I could muster. In the wake of defeat, I look like a person defeated.

shhhh. Think about all the great things that Europe did in Africa. They have build the perfect foundation for prosperity. China investing there is just messing everything up.
Indeed
So you want to tell me the Chinese don't get back far more in return and most of their investment isn't to their own benefit? Please.
Wow easy there tiger, I never said or meant that in any way. Everyone is into business dealings for their own benefits, China and Africa benefit from one another. Is everything perfect ? Obviously no but it is better than before.

what if instead of grabbing women's pussies she grabbed men's cocks instead, do you think that would have turned the tide?

I think she should've went with the half naked social media posts that would make you want to grab her by the

nope can't even finish the sentence.

So what job does Alex Jones get and does he still think the Government is out to get us all?
I was watching him a bit as the night unfolded. From what I saw, he looked far from happy. He actually looked fed up and angry whenever I turned him on.

I don't understand the guy, is he not meant to be happy with this or would he have preferred Hillary to win so he could continue with his crazy conspiracies?

Yes, lots of things happen like that but there's a reason that the credit goes to who ratifies it. Plus, it highlights the similarity between the parties.

That would have happened with or without NAFTA. High wages, low productivity, low level of education and bad quality doesn't really help keeping an industrial area competetive.

Even the Ruhrgebiet, which was far more competetive, suffered heavily.
Although Florida was a key state in this election, Trump won it by knocking down the blue wall and appealing to the rustbelt. That much is clear. Why Clinton didn't or couldn't appeal to this region will probably become clearer in the next few weeks. Trump's successful targeting of this was his key to tactical victory. But I think Obama has to take partial blame for these states turning on him.

Why the feck is she walking on stage with that big fake smile still bouncing off her face? She looks ludicrous.

Imagine losing the race to be President of the US and then having to speak to your husband about all these mistresses.

I think Bill is going to be in the Doghouse for a while

Either she has been crying or she has been hitting that medical MJ hard. I recognize those watery eyes, got them myself right now.

The only reason that happened was because of George W. Bush. He fecked up the country so badly that the public would have elected anyone at that time. Trump ran his campaign on 2 race base agendas, he did not discuss any plans on how he would run the country, he just kept mentioning how he would make America "great" again.
MCCain and Romney were someone's.

This is the best I've seen her speak in a while. That's a problem.

But that's a fact... those don't count!

Does anybody really believe Donald on his promises vis à vis trade? I believe he'll ceremoniously kill of TTIP and maybe TPP and leave it at that (maybe a cosmetic change to Nafta as well).

Lets be honest the Bill and Hilary marriage was one of convince for both of them

Much like Trump's victory speech. It's easy to be magnanimous in victory or defeat. Carefully chosen words after the fact.

When you walk into a room of cheering, clapping friends and family what do you expect?
Fair. Was worried when she came on stage looking like the below that she was going to be that way throughout her speech. I was wrong, she does look devastated.

With Trump in power it might mean an end to some of his favorite conspiracies, though he could just spin them now as people trying to bring Trump down and overthrow the "will of the voters"

Do you think that if Trump ran 4 years ago against Obama that he would have won?

Edit - genuine question, not making a smart remark!
Yes he would have if he ran with the same agenda he just ran in this election. If the last opponent was not a Mormon, he would have won against Obama.
