Why have Trump and Republican leaders not condemned Paladino's racist remarks? Republicans may as well change their parties name to the KKK party if they dont want to condemn these kind of remarks.
Because Trump is making America into a 'great' place where you can be a racist cnut and not have to hide it.

The people who needed a college education the most, and who have children who would need it most, fight and argue against it because they don't understand the argument. Oh the fecking irony. It's just so sad, it really is. The other point I would like to make is how it's almost impossible to argue with Bernie. He just makes so much sense and breaks things down so well that he connects with what almost everyone thinks and wants. Obviously you get the odd entitled, spoiled muppet who would disagree, but the vast majority of normal folk really would struggle to argue with most things he says, especially about education, healthcare and social security.

I actually Can see Bernie running again.
I hope he does.

I actually don't think age will be an issue with him if it means unseeding Trump.

He speaks with sincerety and belief. He looks healthy. He will have a lot of support across board.
Trump will have to be an incredibly poplular president to defeat him.

I don't see that somehow.

EDIT:

If Bernie picks someone who looks ready to replace him if needed...he will succeed.

A Sanders/Newsom ticket will be unbeatable

They're cowards and a bit racist themselves.

Yep that line from Bernie at 8:50 is brilliant and completely shows the lies of Trump. I guess the only criticism against Bernie here is that you can't really paid for collage education and heath care by simply taxing the rich as great as that would be, Americans(I could be wrong) compared to most the countries Bernie talks about pay a pretty low tax. But I think it's fair of him to not mention this as he's there to get a message across.

Health Insurance premiums would not be needed. They would be replaced by Medica for all draw on wages which would be a fraction of insurance premiums. Also Big Pharma be forced to bid for its medication. Even Trump has said this.
This will be a net savings even as is.
College Education will be paid for by taxes on the upper tier And by closing loop holes bringing back income that is off shore.

I struggle to see any meaningful work on closing tax loop holes, reminds me of a recent interview with Yanis Varoufakis who said during his time in the Greek government that Syriza spent months and months trying to track greeks who didn't pay up(And this is just geek civilians and companies, not world wide companies) and when they came close to getting the money the Trokia shut down the operation. Now there's clearly a different in size and power between Greece and the US but at least with Syrzia we are talking about a government, Sanders would of been just one guy. Same goes for his health care plan - it simply would not get passed(Although I believe there would have been a greater chance of health care getting through than closing tax loop holes).

And the upper tier who would see a raise in their taxes, where a decent amount of the Trump vote. That's completely fine(Their rich who gives a shite)but Sanders at times can give the impression that the only person paying for heath care and collage is the coke head working at Nakatomi Plaza. Anyway I should say I'm being incredibly nit-picky and thought Sanders did an incredible job at the town hall and his campaign in general.

Also @Nick 0208 Ldn you quoted me a Newstatesman interview with Varoufakis a while back but I've completely forgotten the thread. It was a really interesting read, cheers.

Simples, move to Norway.

One of the last projects I worked on when I was still an IT consultant was a FATCA extract in Jersey. It was doomed from the start. Given Jersey's law protecting the identity of peoples' banking details there, there was no way the extracted data was ever going to leave the island without legislative change in Jersey. Bear in mind that Jersey is not going to give up the revenue it gets from banking and rely on potatoes, milk and tourism. There were negotiations with the EU and UK governments about what could be done but, as I say, it was doomed.

I wonder if Drumpf voters would have cared if Miller had stayed on, given they voted for a groper-in-Chief.

Probably not. I think he just went before he was pushed, the Moron Elect would have had to have acted, he can't afford too many scandals in his Cabinet picks, he's going to have enough trouble getting them all accepted as it is.

You really think so? Granted, I just read, watch and listen from far but Republican politicians appear to me to have been happy to brown-nose, boot-lick and bend all over ever since it became clear before the election that Drumpf supporters wouldn't have cared if he had raped women in public on Fox News.

I think you misunderstood my reply. The supporters wouldn't have cared at all, well some would, but the majority wouldn't. However, a lot of the cabinet picks so far have been extremely controversial to say the least. Many will not be popular with the public, with the Democrats AND with Republicans. Many have no political experience at all, and nearly all have been chosen simply down to how much they donated to the Election campaign fund or because of ties to the Moron's businesses. They all have to be approved by the Senate first and it's quite possible that due to conflicts of interest, inexperience and general dislike, that many could be rejected, although it's doubtful many would want to upset the incoming Moron, but it is still possible not all will go through. That's the point I was trying to make. :)

This is true because basically they just always answered with "Well what about Bill, he has been charged with rape by various women and nobody cared."

It always amazes me how many people resign because of sex scandals. Makes one wonder what goes on behind the scenes.

Trump himself spoke of closing the tax loopholes to bring offshore money back. This is doable in different ways, if there is a will in Congress.
Health Insurance in the US is a scam. If Medicare for All is considered simply raising taxes, duplicate what the Swiss do. Highly controlled Private Insurance so there is no profitering.
People want public funding of tution. Its once again Congress finding the will.

I see Trump as a batterng ram of why we cannot do this or that.

Sorry, but this one is just so apt. Well done whoever did this.

It's baffling that the to-be US president is allowed to have such immature and childish tweets.

He does not want to face the media .Accept Fox and Friends. So tweeting will be his way to get to his supporters and bypass what he sees as biased against him news reporting. Not sure how he'll get away with it for four years though.

There'll be more column inches, more clicks, with Trump as president than anyone else.
