Looking at it on its own, maybe not. But the incident now includes the Press Secretary of the US putting out a video doctored by Infowars to justify the banning of said journalist.
It's horseshit. He's literally calling himself a nationalist, journalists the enemy of the people, his press secretary is putting out a video trying to suggest that it was assault by Acosta and an administration that incarcerates children. Yet we have journalists and fairly smart people coming up with this shit about civility. I mean, he has literally spelt it out for you, what he is and there are still people trying to defend him in this instance. I wish a lot more journalists would stand up to that piece of shit in the White House and journalists should stick together.

The problem is the BBC article was written by someone who wasn't in the room. Easy to judge a scenario when that person is watching it on TV. If you lick his ass, you get nice responses. If you challenge Trump then you get insults. Personally I respect the journalists who go at him rather than the tame people throwing the easy questions about.
I'd have more respect for the article writter if she'd bothered to turn up, but she was redirected. Ok, pretty bizarre for the BBC given it was always going to be a heated press conference. I'm pretty biased though as I tend to think BBC are a bunch of amateurs nowadays.

I agree with a lot of this. Many of the questions I see asked at these meetings in Americaland are fecking terrible, self serving and deliberately antagonistic. And I know that a big part of it is Trump dragging the debate into the gutter too but I'm still romantic/deluded enough to belive that journalistic integrity should prevail. That said, I don't think the BBC and its news coverage are complete strangers to such theatrics, although still far from anything you see in the states. CNN is a dreadful network and its a shame that they've become the bastions of a free press and the rallying point for the attack on Trump. Again, Trump is not the cause of it, he's just very much a symptom of these wretched times.
If I’m honest I don’t see anything leading to his downfall. He does what he wants whether legal or illegal. A fuss is made about it for a while then it subsides. Then a fuss is made about something else then that subsides...and so on.

Save footage of him actually committing a crime and then maniacally laughing at the camera, I don't think we will ever get a head shot piece of evidence. He doesn't use emails, so it's always going to be his word against someone else's. He'll plead ignorance and call everyone else liars trying to save their own skin. The burden of proof to try and take down a sitting president in today's polarized climate is going to have to be insanely high.
The senate will never impeach because his base will never stop supporting him. The legal route will eventually reach the Supreme Court and he may have appointed yet another justice by then, who you can be dam sure would share his views on presidential immunity.

It's not that easy. The second the media start pointing out his lies, he calls them fake news and left wing propaganda.
