I don't get it. When the President has said it's enough and wants to move on - Jim Acosta doesn't listen. The lady is trying to grab the mike - he refuses to give it. And somehow he comes across as the hero in this? How?

Because they are not tgere to eat his shit. They are there to hopefully call out the most dishonest public figure in moder times.

Donald Trump is a really, really poor public speaker. He is chronically unable to hold a coherent train of thought. It's pretty clear he starts sentences having no idea how he is going to end it.

He is. Everything you need to know about the bloke can be learned from just reading a transcript from an interview he's done, or from one of his press conferences. He simply struggles to convey his thoughts in a coherent manner, and nearly every sentence is filled with tautology because he's unable to elaborate any further on the point he's trying to make. The words just dribble out of his mouth, with little to no meaning.

The best analogy i’ve heard about how he processes his thoughts, is to picture someone blowing up a balloon, then holding the end and letting it go. That’s how his mind works.

They are correspondents and their job is to ask questions when it's their turn. When the president says move on - that should be that! regardless of your hatred.
As an outsider, it is laughable how divided this country is. Everyone justifies everything their side does. I can't imagine the uproar in the liberal media if a Fox reporter had done this to Obama.

Again, how is Jim Acosta not acting like a complete dick in this clip?

This is easily my favourite:

“Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it’s true! — but when you’re a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are — nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what’s going to happen and he was right, who would have thought? — but when you look at what’s going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it’s four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it’s all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don’t, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us.”

Agree

The absolute fecking state of it. Christ. It really does make your head hurt reading it. It reads like someone who's completely baked and is just jumping from one topic to the next, with some non sequiturs thrown in.

He says the midterms were a great victory but his demeanour betrays him.

Look at this hypocrite.

Whenever I see McConnell, I want to grab one of his jowls with a pair of pliers and wrench it as hard as I fecking can.

Also, this is where Avenatti is going to be our guy. While some Dems are meek, he's going to be like a terrier hounding the House Dems to grow a spine and reopen investigations.

Your party is doing all in its power to disenfranchise minorities and you he is angry at the question. I have no problem Acosta acting like a twat towards him. It's long due.

good to have the old Donald Back. missed the train wreck in recent months

He is like an emotionless bastard for whom everything is just business.

Looking forward to Republicans coming out and against Trump. After all this was the red line they talked about. Not holding breath.

The only surprise is that he didn't wait for another few days to fire them.

Can acting AG fire Muller, or do they need for a permanent confirmation first?

No the temp AG can fire him, just like Bork did way back when
That is pretty ridiculous then. Muller should just make public whatever he has and then the investigation to continue from the house. Would be a pity if everything is lost.

AHAHAHAH! Fear of the impeachment now that the Dems won the House?
The impeachment in the house means feck all, heck he would probably want it to happen (and McConnell actually was suggesting that). Firing Muller was considered as the red line for some Republicans (like Susan Collins for example) but I doubt that they will do anything about it (and actually more powerful senators like Paul had been suggesting it for some time now, with others like Graham or McConnell, while never had said that he should be fired, have already called it a witch hunt).

I also don't see at this stage how firing him will mean much, when Dems can start an another investigation from the House.
