Yep, this country is so top heavy right now that it's inevitable that it will topple. It's hard to say right now whether they will resurrect in to something like Canada or the U.K.

Nobody is asking to scrap every aircraft carrier (btw, the Russians have only one that is more useful as a smoke barge) . But it is widely known that the bureaucracy and overspending inside DoD is making it something akin to a money black hole.
The US military can do with a lot less newly purchased hardware and more of a renewed focus on maintenance and actual reddiness.

Trump will have an aneurysm if Democrats win both houses. I predict nothing will get done in the next 2 years and people will openly start campaigning for president by Thanksgiving.

Unlikely as it is for them to take both Houses today, we can still expect the fireworks to really kick off if Dems take over the House committees and go full force in on Trump. They'd probably waste the opportunity to cripple him of course and shoot themselves in the foot somehow.

Because everything she has was gained by embracing him and his company. After the jacket incident, the trip to Africa, the bs anti bullying campaign etc in some ways she annoys me more than Donnie. Does anyone think that there is any chance that Pelosi stands down? Despite that Republicans have made her the legend of a boogy man, she is actually really soft. Not Chuck-soft, but still soft, and will try to cooperate with Republicans.

Nothing will get done. There will more name calling, feuding and investigations whilst Trump passes as many EOs as humanly possible and claim he has passed more legislation in presidential history, whilst nominating as many circuit court judges in history.
Meanwhile, there will be a recession by 2020 and USA has lost four years of a global leadership vacuum.
