What conspiracy theorist as Trump been listening to now regarding Chinese Election tampering. If i was him i would look a lot more closer to home.

People will focus on Trump's genitals but ignore the part when Trump and Hilary were potentially conspiring to question Obama's citizenship in 08.

Yeah, people love salacious shit. It's easy to predict which of those revelations will mushroom.

Not at all, it's just painful that we sit here laughing at Trump tweeting silly things, whilst these silly things are a very important factor of why Trump is so popular with his supporters. They love this kind of stuff. "They are great American patriots". Anyone with half a brain can sees it for what it is, empty fecking nonsense, but the people who elected him love it. They don't care about details like whom he paid to do what they just want him to MAGA MAGA MAGA.

Trump either does this, because he is smarter than he looks (and well, sounds, acts, talks, breathes, carries himself, eats) or there's a strategist writing these sort of patriotic moronic tweets.

I agree, apparently these guys are harmless tho according to some posters on here...

My post was a shit joke btw.

Is that a Mitchell and Webb reference I spot there? If so, hilarious sketch.

Our hats...they’ve got skulls on them.
Somebody got it, I feel better now.

Trump's base is overrated .

on the contrary, they are fanatical in support. There is just no way that his support will stay at close to 40% after the things he has said with impunity. For the longest time, there were speculations that the drop into 20% is just around the corner with GOP dropping him like bricks leading up to the mid terms(I won't name the poster who was practically sure this would happen here), but the opposite has happened. His support has coalesced at 40% and the GOP had to embrace him more than ever to get through the primaries. 2018 Mid Terms will be a great judge of it, but unless there is a tremendous blue wave resulting in House or Senate being taken over by the Dems, I expect his base to increase and GOP fully backing him for a second run.

This shit is real. I just hope the Dems understand this bullshit and instead of jockeying for power within themselves, identify a candidate (hopefully Sanders or Warren as I can't see any other viable alternatives), call out what they stand for and go for hell this time. I very much wish they get rid of the divisive 2 year long democratic primary and do a unity tour when Republicans are fighting out. Didn't Hillary Clinton yesterday say that our very democracy in crisis? Desparate times calls for desperate measures. Or give it to Corey Booker and hope black people turn out in droves to vote like they did for Obama. It's time to put your personal priorities and get behind a candidate IMO.

How can a draft dodger who is allegedly backed by Russia be considered patriotic though? I know they think he is but that's what is so sad about the whole situation.

Trump is a conman who knows his mark. He also knows that he doesn't have to con everybody just enough to get/keep him elected.

Trump's base is overrated .

Any country you look, there are 20-25% who'll staunchly support a perverse agenda. In the US, it was the same for Nixon and it's the same for Trump. That support is not going anywhere; even if kumquat is handcuffed out of the White House being proven a traitor. Tax-cuts, immigration, environmental deregulation, a conservative supreme court - these are all republican policies that he has implemented. So, it's not hard to see why his support hasn't eroded much among republicans. Not many people care or pay too much attention to all his twitter bluster. The elections will depend on how many democrats come out to vote and how many independents who voted from Trump because of their aversion to establishment can now see through his bullshit.

Don't think I've hated another person more than this guy. He has no redeeming quality. Everything about his personality is negative...total cnut.

More than words. His actions actually kills people indirectly. Those words and trade wars stuff are probably just a gimmick for him but half the world economic turns upside down because of him

Jobs are lost, currency are in shambles, government policies are upside down thanks to this man.

Pretty much. He's essentially there as a massive piss take all while inflecting as much racism, sexism etc on the population. And because its so clear that this is the case I don't know why anyone is that annoyed or angry Trump the person(Rather the system that brought him into power).

There was anonymous talk coming out of the GOP that they were waiting for the primaries to finish before turning on him. It’s still possible, although it’s also very possible that they’ve realized that Trump talking them down could cost them the election, and he’s just the kind of dumb bastard to cost his party seats to get one over on his enemies.

It’s a dangerous game though. A tough primary can be damaging, but it can also prepare a candidate for the general, highlight weaknesses early so they can establish good pre-emotive defenses, and most of all give the eventual nominee a lot of free press. It shouldn’t matter as much unless the GOP have their own primary challenger, but given how good Trump is at dominating the front pages, the Dems need all the press coverage they can get.

If I'm Republican I'd try to move on from Kavanaugh. There's plenty of other options around after him and he wasn't even McConnell's choice for a pick. The Senate hearings playing out publicly are going to be another nail in the coffin in terms of the female vote heading into the elections.

They are boxed in at this point imo. Stay with him and be perceived that they are putting a flawed/controversial judge on the court, who by his own ascent to SCOTUS, would piss off a lot of women, which would in turn cause problems for the Rs ahead of the mid terms (and beyond). Conversely, ditch Kavanaugh and then open up a massive can of worms where the Dems may potentially win the Senate and then attempt a two year retaliation for what the Rs did with Garland in 2016. Its a no win situation for the Republicans.

If that were true, white women wouldn't have voted for Trump.
