Yep - love how they are burning their own shoes and clothing in protest!!

While all the time conveniently ignoring the awkward fact that they are simply exercising their right to protest someone's right to protest....

It's like an illiterate persons version of burning books to stop ideologies they don't agree with...

People really need to stop this whole ‘they’re doing a white power sign!’ bullshit. There’s more than another feckedness going around right now on the right, without this nonsense.

Bob Woodwards book on trump has some fire excerpts
Definitely going to add it to my library

I already pre-ordered.

I can't imagine the amount of paranoia running through the WH staffers at the moment, not knowing which of them are going to be featured in the book talking about others and who Trump threw under the bus.

Really?

It's a completely unnatural position for people to have their hands, especially in Bash's case. While I completely agree there are a myriad of other important things going on, knowing if white nationalists are working in the White House and working alongside a possible future supreme court judge is something I think people should be aware of.

She looks Mexican.

More importantly, who the feck holds their arm like that and joins their thumb and finger into a circle on top of the resting arm? weird relax position.

 The Jewish woman behind Kavannaugh accused of making the white power symbol has now been replaced by.......Condi Rice.

Just curious but you think a white nationalist would be right behind a supreme court nominee at a hearing being seen world wide and purposely showing some white nationalist sign for the purpose of stiring up controversey?

Sorry, wasn’t a dig at anyone here, just the twitter crew who keep calling this stuff. It’s one of those things where someone can just be messing around with their hands when the’re bored but a single photo suddenly looks bad. These feckers are doing all sorts of crooked shit, but it’s not realistic to think they’re sitting pulling secret white power signs in the middle of a senate hearing. It makes no sense.

Somehow this made me chuckle.

4. Her Father Made a Documentary Titled ‘The Hoax of Man-Made Global Warming’

Bash’s father is Dr. Lawrence Richard Gelman, a “distinguished physician” in the Rio Grande Valley, so says a feature in Empower Texans. That feature says that Dr. Gelman “is a second-generation Polish-American Jew whose parents barely escaped the Holocaust and found solace in America.” Dr. Gelman met his wife, Maria Esperanza, in Monterrey, Mexico, and the couple was married in 1979. They have four children together, Zina, Alexander, Rachel and Sharon.

In 2017, Dr. Gelman wrote and produced a documentary called, The Hoax of Man-Made Global Warming. Dr. Gelman called climate activists “hucksters” who “perpetrate ad convenient lie.” In the early 2000’s, Dr. Gelman hosted a political talk radio show titled, Talk Back with Dr. Lawrence Gelman. Dr. Gelman told Texas Border Business about elaborated on his feelings about climate change in an interview. He said, “We don’t believe [man made climate change] is occurring. Climate change and temperature have been going on forever, but it’s nothing to do with what man is doing. We believe that it’s being used by government and others for their agenda.”

You gotta be shitting me, she is half jewish and half Mexican. She's Clayton Bigsby.

Woodward said:
Cohn, a Wall Street veteran, tried to tamp down Trump’s strident nationalism regarding trade. According to Woodward, Cohn “stole a letter off Trump’s desk” that the president was intending to sign to formally withdraw the United States from a trade agreement with South Korea. Cohn later told an associate that he removed the letter to protect national security and that Trump did not notice that it was missing.

What the actual feck. He wanted to do something this extreme, then didn't even notice when it disappeared. What the feck.

I use this distraction technique with great success on my toddler. He probably replaced the document with a colouring in book.

Apparently he called Sessions a 'dumb southerner'... If there's a tape on that (probably not), that would damage him considerably as it's quite clear he is playing into a stereotype.

Trump, however, saw himself as a Twitter wordsmith.
"It's a good thing," Trump said when Twitter expanded its character count to 280, "but it's a bit of a shame because I was the Ernest Hemingway of 140 characters."

That was my take on it too. Feck all the other rubbish I just cannot fathom how anyone relaxes like that? Bizarre. And as someone on Twitter said, with Trump, Bannon, Miller and more all being clearly pro white nationalists it's easy to see why people may jump to conclusions when someone from the White House appears to be making a symbol associated with White Nationalists.

Anyway.... he really wants his Supreme Court Judge so he can have a deciding vote on any charges brought against him as President.

I'm sure they did. You had conspiratorial twitter users thinking she was an alt-right figure (this is a Jewish woman whose grandparents narrowly escaped the holocaust).

Just going to use these posts as a springboard to delve a little deeper here.

Do I think Zina Bash is a card carrying member of the KKK or some white nationalist organization? Absolutely not.

Do I think that Zina Bash might intentionally throw up a subtle controversial subtle hand sign to "troll the libs"? I absolutely believe she would.

Its like Melania's intentional choice to wear that cheap jacket with the writing on the back. She has an easy out ("my grandparents were Jews in Germany of course I am not hillbilly white power") so can easily use subtle gestures. Political gesture analysis has been studied for decades. A lot of gestures of Presidents from Nixon to Reagan to Clinton were very intentional choices.

Zina is a smart (and rich) person who doesn't have to get involved in partisan politics. But she chooses to. She has an agenda. She has to. Its not some simplistic redneck white power agenda though. Its more complex. Its a gain social reputation in conservative circles by trolling liberals strategy that 4 years would have seemed juvenile. Until Trump used this strategy to get elected President of the USA. So I don't think Bash is remotely stupid enough to be trying to "secretly signal" to White Power Factions that she is one of them. I do think she is crafty, tricky and lowest common denominator style enough to be intentionally making this gesture 'subtly' to intentionally cause a "liberal sjw overreaction" to try to trap/'expose' progressive social influencers into attacking an "innocent Holocaust Descendanat" which all just proves how wacky and stupid the libs are.

Bingo! Great post and I suspect that's hit the nail on the head.

There's no incentive for her to do so, especially if it upstages Kavannaugh's hearing. There's no rational motive there.

Say the man who has admitted he has learnt foreign policy watching talk shows.

I don't think these hearings are much more than a show anyway. Delay Obama for a year Mitch wouldn't be holding the hearings now if they didn't already know they had the votes. I think what is really at play here is more an early media battle for the midterms rather than an actual debate over Kavanaugh. Its a proxy stage.

So the rational motive is to trap the liberals into overreacting to motivate the Republican base for the midterms.

That's not rational though. It may resonate well among the network homophily twitter conspiracy buffs on the left, but to anyone with no dog in the fight it sounds like a manufactured conspiracy to vilify an associate of Kavannagh.

Exactly

Interesting. So she's doing it to feck with people basically and fall for a trap. And then they do exactly that.

Hope she's ignored.

With that said. I still don't buy it. She's risking a shit show of backlash just so she can troll libs.... Nah sorry I don't buy that. Either way ignore
