Somethings cooking.

Think we'll be getting more indictments in the next few weeks.

Mueller will likely have to "pause" the investigation around the September/October mark because of the midterms, so its plausible they'll bring ahead the indictments so they dont clash with the elections.

Why is this disgusting crook not swamped by libel suits?

I wonder what Jordan cut himself off from saying there toward the end when he said “this committee, charged with defending the..... the Judiciary committee”

He seemed extremely frustrated. Basically, the GOP house are focused on doing as much damage as possible to both Rosenstein, Wray, and the Mueller investigation before they potentially lose their majority status in November. At that point, the likes of Nunes, Jordan, Meadows and their co-conspirators will have little to no leverage and the likes of Schiff, Swallwell, and others will be in charge (and Nunes will himself likely be under investigation).

I’m just curious as to what he thinks he’s there to defend.

The party? The president?

It certainly isn’t the Constitution.

Jim Jordan is a fecking spoofer and should go back to his cork board and red yarn. He hears a couple of names farted out on faux news and then makes a fool of himself trying to link these people in a vast conspiracy yet totally ignores the mountains of Russian shite piling up at the door of the trumps and Rnc.

Looks exhausted

Don’t think that is Presidential Pressure/Russia Investigation related, it’s just that that was the first 9 seconds manual labour he’s done in his life and it took it right out of him.

I'd be delighted if he was.

Also, wtf was that half-assed digging?

Also also, wtf wtf Foxconn??
Foxconn, also known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd.

It’s the Taiwanese tech company whose Shenzhen plant on mainland China made international news because they had to install nets around the dorms to try and prevent the workers from committing suicide.

Oh yeah, I'm well aware of them. I used to use their aluminium dust factory explosion as a talking point with engineers in lessons. What the hell is this hookup? I'm reading they've also subsidised them $4.5m??

@unchanged_lineup

So those “15,000” jobs come at a cost of $300,000 a piece, before wages.

Feckin hell!!

Are they already in the US somewhere else, or is this the first location? I just find it baffling all ends up. I thought the likes of Apple used them because of the pitiful wages they could pay in China, meaning massive profit margin on final product sales.

It doesn’t stop at the ridiculous subsidy either...
An analysis by the Wisconsin State Legislature'snonpartisan budget office determined that state taxpayers would recoup their investment in 2043.[62] In return, the deal would return an estimated $181 million each year. This loss, according to economics professor Michael Hicks, amounts to a payment of $1,200 from each household to Foxconn.[63] Foxconn would also be exempt from an environmental impact statement and be able to avoid several other environmental protection rules that other companies must comply with.[61]
