Harambe evidently got less than 10 votes. Note also that Gary Johnson and Evan McMullin (right-wing protest/principled votes) combined had 3.5 times the votes of Jill Stein.
 
While I'm not suggesting that all 51000 votes for Jill Stein are protest votes from left wing Democrats, nice of you to consider all libertarian votes as principled votes. You know why I often incpude harambe though, so no need to throw back stats at me. However well intentioned, same as before is better than this. Well I'm not sure about that too.

He got the tax legislation through and that has been his biggest victory so far for sure but it has been received very poorly even in the red States otherwise he would be bragging about it non stop but he isn´t for a reason.

If the Republican had worked together more efficiently they could have gotten a lot more done but so far they have failed to destroy the Affordable Care Act completely. They have failed to make a immigration reform and the child jails at the border have been a fail for him right now as it has provoked a strong reaction from some of his Christian base which could end up doing a lot of damage to him if he is not careful as Jeff Sessions have been an tool by using the bible to justify the policy to separate parents and children at the border.

Him cancelling the Iran deal is more of a failure at this point as the EU have refused to follow him and this has made him look stupid and weak as the president of the United States of America more than anything else really on the global scene and i would classify it as half win and half failure because of it to his base.

The most damage he is truly doing is the totally inept judges him and the Republicans are getting into the federal courts / SCOTUS for sure while he is doing great dmg to the EPA and the Department of Education. He is doing terrible damage to workers right and consumers right at the Consumers Federal Protection Bureau.

Him ending the DACA program have not been a win at all as it has made a fractions within the GoP to fight between them selves over the future of these children as many Republicans do not want to see these kids deported as they are a major economic gain to U.S.A. This infight within the GoP is currently stopping his effort to reform the immigration system thankfully.

For those that believe Trump actually has any desire whatsoever to improve the state of America, you may have a point. I personally think that is a ridiculous notion.

America is a now business, with him as the sole shareholder, a corrupt CEO that will milk it for all he can for him and whoever pulls his strings. That's what "winning" is to him. I'll be shocked if he hasn't already made billions from this.

He doesn't give a shite about immigration, all the nonsense he's stirred up with DACA, travel bans, this invented "crisis" on the southern border is just about inciting racial hatred and outrage, empowering and growing his base.

The huge drive towards nationalism, the increasing control of the media... Sinclair will likely have doubled its viewership by the time 2020 comes around. Its all straight out of the Russian handbook. All that's missing is a war... maybe that's what the NK thing is about? Kim going back on a deal (which he never made) to justify it?

America is fecked. I can only laugh at the Jill Stein, Harambe anyone but Hillary, crew. This man will send America back to the pre WWII and what's worse, he will get reelected. The man will end up appointing 3+ judges.

Republicans need only a simple majority to confirm the nominee. There is nothing the Dems can do to delay this.

Still not too worried about Roe v. Wade after this, nor do I think Republicans really are as they’ve damn near made abortions impossible or at least remarkably difficult at a state level in deep red states already. It’s not worth expending any political capital as they’ve already won.

Where this hurts is any hope of general election reform (decoupling from $$$). Or really just anything where big business’s interests collide with the average citizen.
 
Yeah I think this is s chance to kill off unions, voting rights and skew elections for the rest of the century. Abortion is low on the agenda

I’m rereading Jim Marrs’ ‘Rise of the Fourth Reich’ now. While he goes into a bit deeper societal conversation about the potential, somewhat inevitable, rise of fascism, and gets a bit fanatical conspiratorially, he would have been astounded by the speed the country is morphing into a fascist state. He saw some of the ground strokes needed for fascism to truly take hold here and he looks a good deal prescient.

If Trump is smart he will choose Amy Coney Barrett . Female, young, a religious freedom proponent, and dubious on Roe v Wade . Murkowski and Collins would have a hard time voting against her as would Manchin.
