Ugh, it took me years to get used to pissing in public urinals and this will set me back a decade or two, but sometimes you just have to take a stand.
It is the one he wants from his perspective though. He reckons that kneeling during the anthem and pissing on Yo-Yo Ma to highlight sewage problems are equivalent as both are illegitimate forms of protest. This means that in Will's woeful analogy both peeing on the orchestra and the awful state of the water supply are problems and just because one is more important than the other doesn't mean we should allow people to piss on the string section until the pipes get cleaned.
Then again Yo-Yo Ma is not guardian of New York's utilities and so is an illegitimate target. By contrast the flag of the USA fairly represents the country the kneeling protesters believe is failing their communities. Pissing on someone is also an assault while kneeling remains a little more demure.
