First I need to let the "Evangelical university" bit sink in for a while.
It's Liberty U, well known for all kinds of batshittery. Thing is they have a fairly sizeable alumni and support system. I've met a few military/civil service personnel that have attended classes via online/in-residence. Most are definitely religious nutters.
Dawkins owned them at least once before.
