The Trump Presidency | Biden Inaugurated

Yes and a POTUS posting crap about the FBI and firing people is not a conflict at all. He is losing it, which is lovely to see.

It’s a truely wonderful sight watching him crack up.

That being said, his plans to hire Bolton are pretty terrifying. I think he wants a war to distract the country and give the news cycles something to be “patriotic” about and unify all sides.

The good news is that I don’t see the intelligence services working with him to manufacture that war.

I can see Trump looking to bring Giuliani into the fold officially at some point. He’s going to surround himself more and more with people who will fight for him.

I see Giuliani is already an “informal cyber security adviser” despite seemingly having no credentials for the role. I can help but suspect that it’s a method of getting him privy to classified information. Giuliani seems to have a Wikileaks channel from before the election a bit like Stone but with half a brain cell to keep it low key.

Just for the sake of accuracy, Will Ferrell's Celebrity Jeopardy is the best thing that's ever been on SNL. Glad I could clear that up, you're welcome.

Also Adam Sandler has some extremely funny films. Happy Gilmore, 50 First Dates, Wedding Singer and Spanglish are all very good.
Very funny alright, needed some more cow bell though.

An elegant testament to his lack of self control.

Even though he's already said it over and over again, you can imagine him just sitting there fuming, itching to speak, and finally unable to resist blurting out this to get one more word in the argument going on in his own head.

Almost tourette like!

A total RICH C*NT with massive conflicts of interest!

So he really is pushing for the death penalty for some drug dealers, because Asian sentencing is something to be inspired by apparently. He'd probably go the full Philippines route if he could.
Why not fix the actual issue and stop people getting hooked in the first place because they keep prescribing shit so easily (I know this is mentioned)?
Why not go a step further and aim to get places out of the gutter so people have something to live for?
Probably because it's not as easy and he might not get chance to say "look what I did".

He wasn't an odious twat when he was younger. Even up until a few years ago he was more liberal than right wing.

I haven't liked Trump since his Apprentice days but in the last two years he has taken it to a new level. A life of being surrounded by sycophants and getting exactly what you want plus going senile are to blame.
Wasn't he a dem until some years ago?

New York Times said:
On the morning of Wednesday, February 28, Hope Hicks arrived at the White House just after 8 a.m. Within a week, it would be snowing in Washington, D.C., but she was dressed for spring in a bouquet of purple, yellow, and blue, as if willing the end of winter with her miniskirt. She held on to her iPhone in the West Wing, in violation of a rule that normally diverted it to a locker secured by a shiny silver key, then retreated to her office, a first-floor broom closet that in the past had been assigned to presidential secretaries.

When the administration began 13 months before, competition among some staffers had manifested as a struggle for real estate here; Omarosa Manigault, a perennial reality-TV contestant, had gone so far as to steal a room that had been designated for Anthony Scaramucci, “the Mooch,” a hedge-fund millionaire obsessed with astrology and the word f*ck, because of its status-confirming glimpse of the Washington Monument. Both of them were eventually fired, along with a procession of others who failed to maneuver the chaotic status hierarchy President Trump seemed to cultivate out of boredom.

A view of duck-tour buses circling the mall wasn’t needed for Hicks to know her standing. What her office lacked in flair it made up for in proximity. While others were left wondering what the president was thinking, Hicks could often hear him shouting, even with her door closed. “Hope!” he’d scream. “Hopey!” “Hopester!” “Get in here!”

I still wonder whether he himself is in on the whole thing.

I hate the cnut but imagine if he genuinely didn't know about it and he really genuinely thought it was a witch-hunt because of that? That would be unlivable with for me, not knowing whether you were an illegitimate President or not. Especially with his narcissism.

I'm not sure he was really ever anything. He liked to associate with well-known circles and that often meant associating with major Dems (like the Clintons, rather ironically) but at the same time he's got a rather murky past when it comes to how he treats people and how he treats his workers, and incidents like the Central Park Five reveal he's probably always been a nasty piece of work, even if he did a much better job at hiding it back in the day.

I have no illusions that Trump has always been an insufferable cnut and a truly nasty piece of work and he will be until the day he dies.

There definitely something wrong with him upstairs. At a minimum extreme narcissism and pathological lying.

I urge you to watch the recent documentaries on Trump that were shown here on Channel 4. The 4 part series that basically took him from birth to now was a real eye opener and I have seen and read countless articles and programmes about him before.

It's probably the best series truly get inside his head and to the bottom of his many issues and dodgy business connections.

You can find them here and a few other decent documentaries too.

I recently watched the Trump episode of Dirty Money at Netflix - I knew he was shady, but feck me!

Christ this cnut is fecking unhinged.

Indeed. Excellent thread here!

Execute dealers? What drug companies and chemists? Because most of the opiod addiction is caused by mecidinal opiates. Dumb cnut.

Scientists should create non addictive drugs? Feck why didn't they think of that before? Are we forgetting that's not in their benefit? It won't help with street drugs and Also, hasn't he kind of admitted there that It's a medicinal rather than criminal problem?

Build a wall to stop the drugs? What the medicinal ones? And what about the ones who come by air and sea?

fecking moron! Clueless and just says shit he thinks sounds good and his base are so high (oh the irony) on his kool-aid and many are so thick they don't even question his bullshit logic.

I mean, there was this.

Trump’s real-estate company tried to avoid renting apartments to African-Americans in the 1970s and gave preferential treatment to whites, according to the federal government.

And this.

In 1989, Trump took out ads in New York newspapers urging the death penalty for five black and Latino teenagers accused of raping a white woman in Central Park; he argued they were guilty as late as October 2016, more than 10 years after DNA evidence had exonerated them.

And all the rest.

He has changed for the worse, but he has always been a bit of a twat.

In all fairness many people of his age have views on racism that many of us find unacceptable. Discriminating was very common in the 70s, even in the UK. People of Trumps generation grew up in a segregated society in the US. It takes a generation or two to purge society of those bigoted views.

In fairness? Bollocks. That's a cop out and no defence whatsoever especially considering he's the fecking President of the USA.

Most definitely. Its going to take the current generation of baby boomers who generally have more antiquated views about various issues, to die off before we see more tangible change.

Its entirely possible to call him out on his indiscretions and still acknowledge the Archie Bunker effect.

Its easy for us to be sanctimonious five decades after the fact but I bet it was very common to turn away black renters back then. It was a different era with unfortunately different attitude to many social issues.

It also sheds some light on some of his views today.

It's not an excuse or a defence at all. How can a racist be allowed to become President in this day and age? Things like that should ensure he not be considered or allowed to stand. Sorry there really should be a morality test and intelligence test at the very least.

He is constantly degrading and attacking people of colour and women too and any Democrat. He's promoting hate all while in the most powerful position in the world and it is being excused as a generational thing? I think It's a cop out that's all. I think people should be able to evolve and learn and I also believe there is no excuse for things like racism.
