I do work for a guy from Taiwan and he was happy Trump spoke with the Taiwanese president. His sister had her son studying in Maryland, well thats what she thought
until they got a phone call from the police saying they arrested him driving under influence and with drugs inside the car, he was using the college money for drugs so his mom told him to get a job and he must stay in US in case China takes over Taiwan...drugs/death penalty

I think that is when the trolls, bots, and Trumspters went in to overdrive. It's clear that in this day and age news and information is consumed and forgotten so quickly so they only really needed to come in to force in the last couple of months before the election because people's memories are so short.

I was watching Channel 4 news I think it was, some time last week about these fake facebook news sites. They're all basically in Eastern Europe, set up by 18-22 year olds who are bored and want to get paid online
Of course it doesn't apply for all of them, but its worrying that anyone, anywhere can do the same thing and millions of people buy into it.
Hopefully it doesn't continue to be a trend since Google aren't going to give them ad money and facebook seems to be cracking down on things too.
