Thats where the population is, that's where a vast amount of the GDP is made. Yes it is crazy that two states out of fifty can decide an election but whats more fecked up is that fifteen states that are sparsely populated, insulated, hypocritically Christian, bigoted and a drain on the nations economy will vote for only one party no matter who that party nominates, even against their best wishes.
Donald Trump and his family have absolutely nothing in common with most of these people except for two things, they are oblivious to facts and this is the first time they have voted. Unless the EC do their civic duty to protect this nation from a fecking idiot and his slimy gang we will have two years of hell. Hopefully the Dems can take the House and Senate ( they have taken more seats since the 2010 tea party mid terms ) and we can impeach this cnut.
Republican voters are idiots and I have seen enough over the last twenty years to confirm my opinion.
Floridada, a state with the oldest population and will have large swaths of land in serious danger from climate change voted for a man who was complicit in the largest Medicare fraud in history and banned the use of the term climate change in his state.
Kansas, a state that has teetered on bankruptcy and seen their economy destroyed due to the cementing of republican economic policy voted in the idiot who caused it, twice.
I want to know why, if you think that things are so bad you continue to vote for one party in you're state when the facts show that blue states do far better then red states. You're republican state legislature, governor, congressmen and senators are more to blame than a democratic led congress/senate and president.

Actually in California and NY it is only where 18% of the population. The other 82% live in other states including two that are larger than NY (Texas and Florida).
I do agree that if you have always voted for one party and they have been in control of your town, city, country, or state and things are not going well there you should consider changing your voting pattern.

I wish they made voting compulsory for citizen of voting age. Scrape Columbus Day and make the Friday after Thanksgiving "New World Appreciation Day", we can celebrate the wonderful people of this continent, North and South, past present and future.
I would make that whole week voting week, Monday to Monday. The positives for me is it would give families a chance to discuss the best possible outcome for everyone. It would allow people to vote at their leisure and go to the polls with families and friends, make it a celebration not a chore.
It would curtail the media somewhat, the MSM wouldn't be so far up our ass with 24/7 bullshit and it would give us a chance to tell that crazy uncle/ redneck cousin and technology ignorant parents that the story they just read is not true and Hillary didn't kill 49 people.
I would say to family and friends who wanted to vote for Trump because he is such a successful businessman "if that is you're reason to vote for him please bring a bottle of Trump wine and water to dinner and bring some Trump stakes for a cookout while you're at it. If you need a flight look up Trump airlines. We can discuss college options for the family so please bring some Trump University pamphlets. Cousin Tim is looking to buy a home near buy so we need you're help to look for mortgage rates from Trump mortgages. We also want to go all out for Appreciation Friday so bring a few made in the USA trump shirts or ties and some US made Ivanka jewelry". That shouldn't be too difficult, should it? Since he is a successful businessman an all.

So you're talking about the actions of an individual versus the thought, fair enough.
Immorality is tricky, sure I agree it's not a choice that doesn't mean it's not immoral - morality implies right and wrong, respectability, nobility etc.
Not everybody has the option to choose morality, especially when you consider mental illnesses/disorders.
Still a large fecking portion, 1 in 5 live in these two states and Texas and Floridada have very large and blue population centers.
No matter what way the system is set up a candidate who has two million more votes yet loses should stick in you're throat. If Clinton won the EC but lost the PV by that margin this country would lose their shit and implode.

eh? that's kind of a weird argument, it isn't a crime in of itself, I guess, but the moment you act on it in any way it absolutely is a crime in most western countries.
In the same way thinking about killing someone isn't a crime, but almost everything else up to and including actually killing someone, most definitely, is a crime.
