Looks like its been removed. What did it say ?

It was from The Hill and it said that a reasonably well known publication (sorry I really can't remember which) was about to release an article accusing Trump and providing evidence of him colluding with Russia during his campaign.

Damn....wonder why they deleted it.

Think this was the guy who McMaster tried to fire a while ago, but was overruled after Bannon and Kushner got involved.

Isn' that Kremlin Mike Flynn's protege ? Looks like Gorka is on deck now.
It sure is.

And that's not the only guy he got rid of...

A top official on the National Security Council (NSC) was fired late last month after he authored a controversial memo alleging that nefarious forces from both inside and outside the government were plotting "political warfare" against President Trump's agenda.

The Atlantic reported Wednesday that Rich Higgins, who served as the director of strategic planning in the NSC's strategic planning office, was removed from his post on July 21 for writing the memo, which alleged that leftists, globalists, Islamists and "deep state" actors are engaged in "political warfare" against Trump.

"Through the campaign, candidate Trump tapped into a deep vein of concern among many citizens that America is at risk and slipping away," the memo reads. "Globalists and Islamists recognize that for their visions to succeed, America, both as an ideal and as a national and political identity, must be destroyed."

Higgins, whom The Atlantic noted is seen as an ally of White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, had only served on the NSC for a couple of months before his ouster.

Bannon, the former executive chairman of the far-right Breitbart News, is largely seen as representing the nationalist wing of Trump's White House staff. He was removed from the NSC in April, shortly after Trump named Army Gen. H.R. McMaster as his national security adviser.

Since taking on the national security adviser role, McMaster has reportedly worked to rid the NSC of political elements.

Higgins's memo was reportedly authored in late May and began circulating among people outside the White House associated with Trump's campaign.

It isn't clear how McMaster became aware of the memo's existence. Higgins was told by deputy national security adviser Ricky Waddell on July 21 that he was being removed from the NSC.

In the past, Higgins has expressed ideas similar to those in the memo. In an interview with The Daily Caller last year, Higgins alleged that the left and Islamist groups are "weaponizing political correctness" to undermine the United States' fight against extremists.

Higgins isn't the latest Bannon ally to be removed from the council. McMaster fired Derek Harvey, the senior director for the Middle East, last week.

NSC spokesman Michael Anton declined to comment on Higgins's removal.

Our fearless leader has begun a glorious "real news" show on his Facebook page hosted by his wholly unbiased daughter in law.

I was thinking it was about time for some state media. Can't have the independent media spreading lies forever.

 I think he is talking about USA being the highest-taxed because of the total sum of taxes that are paid (which is just a terrible way of looking at it, obviously) and then transitions to talking about how much they might miss out on by multinational companies in tax havens. But yeah, feck knows.

Fox news radio is great craic.....

The amount of glue they are sniffing is beyond belief

whats the reaction to the new immigartion bill? Sounds reasonable to me.

From what I've gathered this is similar to Canada's immigration policy where they focus more on skilled immigrants who can help their economy grow as opposed to random anybodies who want to immigrate there. Seems a wise policy to pursue imo.

This 'Give me your poor and weak' line didn't make sense when Obama was there, nor it does during Trump. It's not as if US has opened the borders and gets the most downtrodden citizens from all over the world and props them up. Japanese and Chinese workforce has faced discrimination in the last century and others will continue to face discrimination this century and beyond.

My L1-A is up for renewal next June. However, I've made my decision not to apply for Green Card. I'm moving back July 2018/July 2020 depending on if my extension goes through next year.

Lot of stuff going on...

Immigration proposal: getting some subtle xenophobic vibes from the policy so far. Think there are some good ideas in there so hopefully Congress can bang those out. Ultimately I see this as playing to his base.

*pause* Some journalist named Glenn and Stephen Miller are going back and forth at the daily press meeting *stop pause*

Affirmative action: very weird for the Justice department to start fighting a policy that has been vetted by the Supreme Court, previous admin's Department of Education, and colleges and universities across the nation. Again, playing to the base.

Healthcare: Interesting to see GOP senators break rank and reach out to the Democratics to common-sensely fix the problems with Obamacare.

Think this is all correlated with Trump's low approval rating? @Raoul @InfiniteBoredom

I see this as seeming to do something while actually doing nothing. Let's be real, they have no real desire to fix ACA, Affirmative action will go to SC and get dragged on and on there and Immigration proposal doesn't solve the root of the problem. It's already insanely hard to get a H1B or P1, and you have the tightest border control check at port and airport.

Leaked audio of Collins confirmed what we always suspected, they are in for a dogfight come Sept when the debt ceiling is up, and no one has any idea how Mulvaney can sell his budget. They are buying time.

Im pretty sure that their policy is already more stringent than Canadas.

I could be wrong, but I've never seen anything factual to the contrary.

I'm referring to the general immigration strategy both countries use. For years, the US has allowed people to immigrate based on family ties. This new move seems to be a departure from that and towards what Canada is doing, which is focusing more on their qualifications than anything else.

Oh god. He's from the district next to mine in South Carolina. No wonder he seemed like a dick. He is one.

He's part of the HFC, a bunch of assholes as one GOP aide put it.

--Another aide to a GOP Congressman put it more bluntly, talking about Mulvaney’s House Freedom Caucus, established in 2015 after the RSC proved not to be right-wing enough for him: “They’re not legislators, they’re just assholes … These guys have such a minority mindset that the prospect of getting something done just scares them away, or pisses them off.”--

Interesting bit of irony...

Trump's grandfather immigrated here at age 16, speaking German, with no job prospects.

He'd be denied entry under this immigration proposal.

Fair play. Seems like putting the cart before the horse but there's an option out there for everyone.

I definitely agree with Trump as to him wondering why the USA are still in Afghanistan after 16 years. I mean, I know why, but he definitely has a point there. As for Pompeo, I'm not sure if that's a good or bad move really. The article does seem to contradict itself a little, or maybe that's just Trump, but it suggests that Trump wants to get rid of the General in charge of the military in Afghanistan (Nicholson Jr) and send McMaster there instead. A move the article says could earn McMaster his 4th star, which I'm sure Trump would love to present. That aside though, it says that Trump rejected McMasters plans for Afghanistan, but he wants to send him there to lead the effort? :wenger:

There really is a Trump Tweet for every occasion. I think it's actually a universal law now, like gravity.

But with every happy Tweet there has to be one that makes you want to punch someone in the head, and who better to bring out rage, than Sean fecking Hannity.

I so hope that collusion is proved now, and Trump goes down because he will take Hannity with him. Hannity has bet the farm on Trump and there not being any illegalities, his reputation (lol wut?) will be in tatters. There are strong rumours now that Hannity was himself involved too, and if that's true, then what better way to deflect attention or throw people off the scent than by throwing shit at the lead investigator and hoping it sticks. Despicable cnut that he is.

Anyone who missed The Daily Show last night (02.08.2017) try to catch the interview with Mass. Congressman Joe Kennedy III – man speaks a lot of sense. Future president is easy to predict when Trump is in power but this guy has real potential.

He's been on my radar for a while, clearly an intelligent guy but he's an establishment favourite. It's time America got a new political system, and he' not going to be someone who will lead that.

"No the President didn't lie, the conversations just didn't happen the way he said they did" I love the uncomfortable pause where she's "looking for the word" and comes out with "powerful" which makes no sense in the context of her reply. Priceless!

And this is the religious cnut who claims she will never lie. How do they look themselves in the mirror and then act all so self-righteous?

Can I just ask... why the feck is it seen as a big deal for someone to say someone lied? "Oh! Whoa! What an accusation. He said something totally untrue, but he didn't lie!"

Feck, he lied. He said something that wasn't true, on purpose, that's a lie. My parents never batted an eye at calling me out if I lied to them.
