The Trump Presidency | Biden Inaugurated

Supposedly The Mooch, thinking he's invulnerable as long as he keeps licking Trump's arse, told Kelly he'd be taking no order from him. Kelly probably didnt want to make the move so soon but he couldnt afford to have his authority undermined from Day 1.

This all makes sense now. Trump got in because of his 'personal Vietnam'.
To go, unprotected, into the great unknown of the battlefield that was late 60s/early 70s strange took supreme courage and dedication to the mission. His commitment is an example to us all.

The gall, telling a Marine 4 star, "I don't take orders from you"

Uh, that's right, you don't. There's the door.

What are Trump's chances of being re-elected?

It depends on what happens with the Russia investigations. If there are indictments and evidence of collusion, then Trump will likely be forced out.

If Trump's campaign/associates is cleared of any wrongdoing (which seems highly unlikely to me) and the economy is performing well, then he may well pull it off :nervous:.

Mooch will be digging out the ol' VHS of Serpico now, for comfort-watching.

He's not going to pull anything off when he'll be the one getting overthrown. All it takes is a military action on some poor sap like North Korea, claiming that the senate is not doing enough to counter a credible threat (this would require compliance from the intelligence community but when did they ever stop a jolly war?) and suspend the constitutional procedure, installing someone like McMaster as the commander in chief. The war would ofcourse be sponsored by Halliburton, Lockheed or any of the gazillion military contracting firms.

I don't think he'd be the one getting overthrown given he's 'the president elect', they'd need him to legitimise any coup when displacing the senate. I'd imagine they'd need media siege when they're at it. It'd make a good movie.

Coup basically means overthrowing the existing government structure, so that starts with the president.

Depends on what happens with healthcare & the economy....

If both of those things are looking good - despite how much personal shit he has hanging around, Teflon Don will be in with a better than decent chance of getting re-elected.

Remember lots of people were bitching about Obama towards the end of his 1st presidency (people that voted for him; democrats and independents)...but, when it come down to it...on election day, they saw that the country was moving in the right direction - economy was getting better and he offered a far better chance of continued growth than Mr. 47%

Same will happen with Trump - independents have deserted him at this stage - but there's no guarantee they won't flock back to him.

Military are usually pro GOP since they spend higher on defense so more money for them

It goes deeper than just spending.

Anyone else worried that Kelly will shore up the fecking disaster and we might see a President actually do something????

Life could have been much worse for The Mooch....

Mooch's motto -- Today is an average day: Worse than yesterday, but better than tomorrow.

If true, shit about to go down:

The Fox News Channel and a wealthy supporter of President Trump worked in concert under the watchful eye of the White House to concoct a story about the murder of a young Democratic National Committee aide, according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday.

The explosive claim is part of the lawsuit filed against Fox News by Rod Wheeler, a longtime paid commentator for the news network. The suit was obtained exclusively by NPR.

Wheeler alleges Fox News and the Trump supporter intended to deflect public attention from growing concern about the administration's ties to the Russian government. His suit charges that a Fox News reporter created quotations out of thin air and attributed them to him to propel her story.

I am getting to the point now where I want to pick up my laptop and throw it against the wall. I am so angered by this guy..

I'm very skeptical if this is anything more than insulation for 2018. After all, all of this noble musings didnt stop him from voting for the 'skinny repeal'.

It's a good thing, but if political expediency is the only thing that prompted him to do it, it might be expedient for him to back Trump again in the future.

@Raoul Question

I am addicted to looking at Donald Trump on Google and hit the news feed. But my mobile is nearly always up yo date while my Web seach on line is behind. where is best place to find developing news on Trump

He actually thinks that not only all of his followers on Social Media are real, but he also doesn't seem to realise that people follow him on Twitter AND have him on Facebook too. On top of that he doesn't seem to realise not everyone who follows him is a fan, so truth his alleged 110 million followers is probably only around 30/40 million REAL Trump supporters.

Admittedly, thats still a huge number, but far from the amount he wanks off to each night.

Definitely Twitter. Find a handful of Twitter feeds and follow them. You'll never miss another Trump story.
