Obviously Junior was working under cover for the IC to help find some proof of Russian allegations. This is truly reaching across the aisle.
 
This might ne a dumb question but how do we know the email screenshots he posted isn't made up to feck with everyone?

Its a double barrel of dumb.

You have the fact he must have an IQ in the 50's, I'm guessing his mother drank while pregnant given who the father is.

But you also have to factor in the fact that this guy has no understanding whatsoever of the concept of consequences. He has never, ever had any in his life, no matter what he has done, so just brazenly admitting it all holds no fear for him, simply because he does not realise what could happen. He thinks he is still playing by the rich guy v pleb rules he has always lived by when messing up, when grandaddy's money (via dorito mussolini) bails him out.

Hes in a world now where there is not enough money in the world to get him out of this, and unless his dad pardons him (which will finish him too so unlikely), he is fecked. You don;t walk away from treason charges.

NYT had told them they had them and were going to publish. He pre-empted that, but they then revealed they had more than he had publicly posted. He then posted another one that he said he'd left out due to "size contraints" :D That was the one that has the explicit Russia link in it.
 
It's interesting that whatever oppo research this was never seemed to be used - I don't remember much scandal about HRC's dealings with Russia during the campaign.

Someone I saw on Twitter said that the very next day after this meeting Trump gave a speech where he mentioned Hillary's missing 33,000 emails for the first time. No idea if that's true or not.

Trump and his pool of snivelling cronies have been pushing that line from the start. They're not far off declaring "hey what's wrong with us all just being Russian together?" as though they're really just on one big peace and love trip.

Plus, the 33k emails refers to stuff she hadn't sent to the FBI/State from her hard drive.
Was she hacked*? Was there a mole, either in her campaign, or someone very senior at the FBI who had sniffed this out? If the Russians knew, only those 2 explanations are possible.

These people - these complete and utter morons - managed to pull off one of the greatest cons of all time. Thank God they're just too stupid to get away with it completely scot-free. It's too bad they'll likely get no more than a slap on the wrist in the end because the GOP Congress won't have the balls to do something meaningful.

Yeah it is interesting. When Stone pressed Putin about it, he obviously denied any involvement in it but he repeatedly mentioned that whoever did it didn't necessarily do anything wrong, because they were exposing the truth about some of the deep inadequacies in the American govt. and he hinted at a lot more information being there. It's impossible to imagine Trump not using it so I wonder what happened...

Anyone think Trump Snr. has used his son as the scapegoat?
