They tend to cover a lot of this on their website, though usually buried below the propaganda pieces. On their prime-time TV shows and early morning talk show, Fox & Friends, though, you won't hear a peep. It's partly why they're losing viewers to MSNBC and CNN during the Trump presidency.

It's like in a film where all the followers of a cult wait for their instructions to arrive. He lay's down the narrative, say's the special words and the deplorables are mobilised. Roll out boys and girls, you know what to do.
That's part of what blaming this all on the Dems and Liburals is all about obscuring - these leaks are almost always from inside their own team. They have so many competing factions who are willing to hold back until things start going south, then it's everyone for themselves. Out of these latest revelations, it seems the likes of Pence and Priebus -the establishment, Washington insider types - can insulate themselves the best if/when the shit hits the fan. I'd expect they're behind this most likely.

One thing I don't get, and it might be because of a time zone difference between Trump and his son, but the time stamp is 1:40pm. They met at 4pm.

Nope. They don't particularly care about the GOP itself. It's more that they are anti-liberal, anti-Democrat, anti-equality. They define themselves by what they hate more than anything else and that's down to the last 20 years of right-wing propaganda machine creating a cultish belief that "they" want to take away your rights and that you are the real victim. For all those people in a place of relative privilege, the idea of equality sounds like a step down. So 'Make America Great Again' is a subtle wink, a perfect public rallying cry to white Christian Americans that they must band together and stop the tide from turning against them.
Chickens being counted early I think.
