The Trump Presidency | Biden Inaugurated

why 2019?
It's when the 2018 midterms will start to bear their fruits, and that's if we're lucky enough for Trump to be enough of a disaster for the GoP to distance themselves from him.

It sounds counterintuitive given how much I've backed Meuller's integrity, but I don't expect the real firestorm to start before 2019, if really at all, given how long this sort of investigation will take. Trump can speed it up though if wants to trip on his own dick again.

you still see "but her emails" and "russian hacking" in order to absolve hillary and podesta and the dnc of any blame for losing. and you see in the refusal to run on single payer and the support for obnoxious centrists who don't even live in the constituency they want go represent in jon ossof that says they havent learned anything from the disaster last november.

throw in the republican gerrymandering, the voter suppression, the flood of dark money and the fact that only one republican senator is up for reelection next year and you can see why it's not getting any better.

That is inaccurate. Of course they are to blame in part.

and yet he won. the point of politics isn't high minded discourse and two hundred page books. it's to fecking win and implement your policies. and the democrats lost to the worst candidate ever because they thought it was a debate class.

and they are going to lose again because they haven't learned their lesson.

No matter how, or what the cost?

i don't understand the question. i'm a democrat. i want the democrats to win actual victories, not moral ones.

Well, Trump won by lying a lot, promising undeliverables and exploiting and increasing vast division and animosity within your society. Next time out should the democrats emulate this style if it's the clearest path to victory?

How many of Obamas promises came true? Promising things you can't actually deliver is just what politicians do.

So according to you and Silva Donald Trump is well within the norms on these scales. Righto

 Thats not what they are saying at all.

With the Dems all at each other like this all the time, then it's no wonder the Republicans are winning and the Trump supporters laughing their heads off.

Obama unified the majority of the left and caught the attention of the independents and even some of the more liberal Republicans. Hillary appealed to many, Bernie appealed to many too, but neither could unify and supporters of each candidate tore each other apart and accused the other of destroying the party and losing the election. The fact that is still going on today should worry any Democrat. It should also mean they would want to resolve it and work out how to change it rather than pointless point scoring months after the fact.

Democrat favorability ratings have been on steady decline since 90's including Obama years. Obama may have been popular for being we'll spoken with manners but he has not unified the left at all. Why would the left be unified by a neo liberal who were handsomely rewarded by Wall Street.

So, I've been browsing r/T_D and this was one of the threads that was posted there:

This is a picture of legal immigrants being sworn-in at a naturalization ceremony. Can we get some love on here for LEGAL immigrants!

I wanted to see what their take on legal immigration is and it didn't take long for this post:

Soooo...Will the topic of demographic replacement ever reach light here?

inb4 criticizing third world immigration is racist!

And some of the responses:

I'd love a moratorium on immigration. Maybe even send back the Legal Immigrants who are abusing our welfare system and the like.

Indeed, legal or not it doesn't really matter, this is the displacement if the American people all the same. I'd argue that this is even worse since being legal this process is officially sanctioned by the state.

I don't really care if immigrants are White or not, though I do believe every nation has a right to self determination and a right to protect their culture and their heritage.

The fact that the majority of the people in that room are not White means they most likely come from a non-Western nation. If we replace our population with people from non-Western nations we will cease to be a Western nation.

This is true because these people are bringing their culture and their bad ideas that made their countries a place they wanted to flee. When we bring them here by the millions they don't integrate into our society. There are so many coming here in such a short time frame that they end up building their own society within ours. That is why almost every major city in the US is WELL below 50% White.

I'm fine if we allow immigration from non-Western, non-White nations but I do believe it's our responsibility to preserve our culture and our heritage by changing our immigration policies. The US was built by White English protestants. Until 1980 the US was still more than 80% White (This was after a massive demographic shift due to the 1965 immigration act).

Going forward our immigration policies should focus on the restoration of the US to our historic demographic levels. That would mean a great reduction in immigration from non-Western nations.

Trying to immigrate to America as a westernized person of European descent is basically impossible, outside of celebrities and other wealthy elites. Anyone like that is deemed low priority and this photo - though nice enough - does seem to show that. Where are the French girls? The Icelandic men? The Brits? The based Canadians? The badass Aussies? The patriotic Poles? Why are all the western nations so single-mindedly over-focused on importing third-worlders and so resistant to free movement between the western nations, where our language, values, and culture are all very similar, and assimilation would be much easier? Hopefully Trump tweaks this. If U.S. immigration policy was less biased against the west, this photo would show a much broader range of skin colors.

Stop all immigration.

Especially, Third World immigration.

Canada, UK, France, many more, all dead due to legal immigrants.

Enough arrive, they fight you to cancel your way of life. More arrive, they vote in their people. Soon enough, the citizens that built the Western country are treated like trash.

Use Canada as an example. The first Trudeau opens the Third World floodgates for legal immigration, now them and their anchor babies and their children own large parts of most Canadian cities. In Toronto, a muslim in parliament presented M103, sharia for Canada. Canadians are in huge debt, giant taxes, to pay for everything that the legal immigrants demand. The immigrants kicked Christianity out of Canadian schools, and now they have become mosques. In a few decades, no white Canadians will live in Vancouver or Toronto.

Agree with the moratorium, but have it go for a century, and only allow in a few Canadian or British soldiers, and their families, after they have fought in their civil wars but lost due to overwhelming numbers.

I posted the first tweet on my FB status with "so literally cooperating with the fox to guard the hen house"

Let's see how many conservative "snowflakes" are "triggered"

You seem to be implying that America aren't as bad in cyberwarfare as Russia, when all the evidence suggests they're worse.

He unified them enough to win two elections. That's what counts.

My country's election was hacked and our president is cooperating with the leader of the country who did it. That's what I am implying. I'm not interested in the "whataboutisms".

I'd be interested to know how US hacking could make a Russian election less rigged.
