The Trump Presidency | Biden Inaugurated

Kim has real options now if he genuinely has ICBM capabilities although I'm sceptical tbh. Kim is well known for his hyperbole and I'm sure we can all remember the photo-shopped pics of his landing/assault craft. Whatever, it's clear that a firm response is required and one where everyone is on the same page. Trump's weak assed Tweets dont really help much or inspire a lot of hope. He's so unpredictable he could easily order an all out attack on North Korea as he could offer Kim around to the White House for tea and biccies. I mean KFC and a coke.

Must admit, i'm surprised how toothless the American System is to try and shift someone like Trump out of Office. Or at least protect some of the laws he's trying to abolish.

Government of the people, by the people and for the people has long perished from the Earth.

His options are just as few now as they were before. If he attacks anyone he will be destroyed.

That's how normalization works. Next step is a sort of Stockholm syndrome where his comments begin to, in an odd way, make a bit of sense.

Not really. I've just switched to enjoy the schadenfreude of watching those who voted for him getting shafted. Nothing is happening for at least two years anyway.

Plus even if he is ousted we'll pretty much see the same agenda on the table anyway, only with less memes and a smaller threat of nuclear catastrophe.

Pence would be far more stable than Trump. At least with him, you would disagree with his policies (many of which would not be implementable any way).

True, I think he comes across as a bit of a political coward as well so would back down on some stuff.

As I've said before, most of the Republicans don't mind him because for the most part he's similar to them: anti-free healthcare, economically pro-deregulation, pandering to the Christian base, and sceptical to climate change. Behind all the maniacal bravado he's (mostly) a run-of-the-mill Republican.
He was never really a Republican though. His views on healthcare we're different before being different than Obama became useful, for instance. He espouses whatever views get him power or money, without any real belief system or principles behind them other than self-service. A pure narcissist.

 Even Iran are taking the piss. Jeez, how the mighty have fallen.

CNN have just had a report about the FAILING dental healthcare in the USA, how it's so expensive and exclusive and how many are going years without visiting a dentist, also how tooth decay is rife in youngsters due to the poor diets. Oh this is perfect. As a kid growing up all I ever heard from the US was that us Brits had the worst teeth in the world. It was a never ending joke, and when the internet first became available it's all you would ever see in chat rooms. Umbrellas, tea drinking and bad teeth. I wouldn't be surprised if that (wrong) stereotype was still around now. It's nice to know the roles are now reversed. What a time to be alive

Obviously it's not a funny subject at all, and I feel very sorry for anyone who cant afford to see a dentist, especially kids.

Oh it's still around. And I've seen dental hygiene far worse here.

They've now confirmed that it was an ICBM that was tested

In unrelated news, the number of states refusing to submit voter info to Trump's panel is up to 44
http://www.cnn.com/2017/07/03/polit...voter-fraud-commission-information/index.html

(South Carolina has yet to receive its summons from the commission but has already stated it will refuse to provide private information - kudos to my state for once!)

You can just imagine all the staff in the communications department playing rock/paper/scissors to decide who has to teach him to pronounce "intercontinental ballistic missile".

[Insert "I don't believe it" RAWK gif]

I read the apology... amazed that people like him (if sincere) didn't realize earlier the kinda shit they were stirring in America. This idea that bigoted "trolling" is funny has long gotten out of hand and has created a pretty embarrassing excuse for a "society". I unfortunately see it every working day in today's youth. It's depressing.

The way he butchers simple things like "industry"... I can only imagine.

I wonder how genuine the apology is, apparently the media or someone effectively doxxed him and his family/friends/neighbours realised who they were living with, which meant he was personally affected. If he means it, I'm very pleasantly surprised.

According to what just flashed across my phone, CNN is who tracked down who originally posted it on Reddit.
