Just noticed the Qatari ambassador is leaving her job
She was critical of Trump, so not exactly a surprise

Just in case anyone was wondering what Bill Mitchell is up to these days...
This is why i hope Ossoff can pull it off next week. Their reactions and excuses would be funny.
Oh right, I didn't even know about that, just started reading up on it now.
Ex WH ethics lawyer
Yeah.. but what do you know?
SO what exactly are you trying to say there then? The first line may well be true, he could easily not be impeached, but that doesn't mean the second part of your post is true. The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN etc are all reporting what is going on with Trump, his family, businesses and his government. The vast majority of which has been provided from leaks inside the WH and his own administration, so unless you are using echo chamber effect as a euphemism for truth and facts, then I don't quite get which other sources you would suggest? because 90% are all reporting off the exact same page, and that is the truth, the other 10% are Breitbart and Fox and co...
Which news media outlets do you consume where a sitting President being criminally investigated for obstruction of justice is a good thing? We're that far away from reality that Trump is under personal investigation and people think that's 'fake news' or 'echo chamber'.
Yes echo chambers do exist on the left and the right but at some point we have to start recognising that facts are facts. There will be dozens, probably hundreds, of America's best lawyers investigating a billionaire with all the tact and intellect to confess to sexual assault whilst talking to a reporter wearing a fecking microphone. He admits to obstruction of justice ON TELEVISION. And this investigation will look into all aspects of Trump's business dealings, make no mistake. The investigation into Clinton that led to the Lewinsky scandal and subsequent impeachment had nothing originally to do with Monica Lewinsky The chances of them finding a thread and pulling on it and it pulling on it and destroying this man, I'd say is high.
I don't get how anyone could look at that and think "Nope, he'll be fine" and accuse others of living in an echo chamber.
A: Yes, it is trueAll I'm saying is that while it is true that he is under investigation for all the alleged crimes, all these news sources from the "MSM" (as he/his supporters call them) seem to just cut to the chase and imply that they're getting rid of him and/or have him impeached/jailed. It is not a given that Trump WILL be impeached and/or WILL be jailed, regardless of whatever the media outlets may say/want you to believe. For all we know one of these investigations will lead to some guy taking the fall for him.
The "echo chamber" effect I referred to is folks believing that something ridiculous as impeachment and/or jail time for a sitting president is ever going to happen in a country as divided along party lines as America. Keep an eye out on /r/the_donald and see for yourself how some of the Trump supporters are lapping up everything he/his team have to say. And yet, here we are talking about impeachment and what not.
Watching MSNBC's All the President's Men revisited.
Shocking similarities.
Ben SteinIndeed. I about vomited when a teary-eyed Ben Stein claimed Nixon was the most persecuted president and he was a saint.

Just watching now. Very similar. I also see why they say the Trump campaign shenanigans could dwarf Watergate.Watching MSNBC's All the President's Men revisited.

Thanks!"The great thing is that nobody thinks we could have done it". I was struck by just how much contempt they had for the American public there.
Then I went on Fox News. This is equally sickening to me. Palpable contempt for the idea that two parties work together in the interests of the nation, rather than against each other in the interests of themselves.
EDIT: This is the original documentary which I assume MSNBC have built upon.

Saw bits of it last night. In certain ways Trump has outdone Nixon in his efforts to shut down the investigation. Firing Rosenstein and Mueller would be the final straw imo.
I wish Trump paid as much attention to his presidency as langy does.
I caught that but as visitors walked in. I was scratching my head thinking I misheard him.A member of Donald Trump’s legal team has denied the president’s own assertion that he is under investigation for obstruction of justice.
Jay Sekulow, chief counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice, appeared across the major political talk shows on Sunday.
Speaking on CBS’s Face the Nation, he said: “The fact of the matter is the president has not been and is not under investigation.”
