Just noticed the Qatari ambassador is leaving her job

She was critical of Trump, so not exactly a surprise

Beautiful Health Care plan.
Hey. Who needs terrorists when we have Trump and the Republicans.

There is now a bipartisan Governors letter to Turtle face and the Republicans in Senate trying to push through the bill.

EDIT: The governors do not want the Mediaid portion to be gutted.

Lets see what happens.

I would put nothing past the GOP scum.

Oh right, I didn't even know about that, just started reading up on it now.

A Ossoff win would be good to counter their claims. They claim everything is rosy and Trump is well supported, polls of Ossoff leading are rigged, republican states still supporting Trump 100%, etc.

Ossoff win would be the first big election backlash against Trump and would ring alarm bells in the GOP party.

Georgia needs fresh politics and rid themselves of the rats, like Handel.

Dark money is fueling Karen Handel’s campaign for Congress
The Georgia Republican opposed anonymous campaign mailers — until they benefited her.

Karen Handel, then Georgia’s Republican secretary of state, said she was “adamantly” opposed to Wiles’ political maneuver—she had recently launched a “transparency in government” program. Eyeing a run for governor, Handel vowed to work with both the state House and Senate to restore the ban, according to her spokesperson at the time.

Fast forward eight and a half years, through failed campaigns for governor and for the Senate, Handel is now the Republican candidate taking on fundraising-juggernaut Jon Ossoff in the special election for Georgia’s sixth congressional seat. As individual donors pour money in, trying to flip the historically solid conservative district to Ossoff, Handel is relying heavily on the same kind of spending she so recently fought against.

Outside groups have spent roughly $9 million supporting Handel’s campaign during the primary and leading up to the June 20 runoff. More than $250,000 of that total has been spent on anonymous direct mail.

Ex WH ethics lawyer

Mueller is untouchable. Never mind the obvious political implications of trying to fire him. He'd never provide 'good cause' that would even approach justification to fire him, and the legal wording surrounding this possible action is as clear cut as it comes.

If taking on Comey is playing with fire, as has been suggested due to his record, taking on Mueller is playing with napalm.

Yeah.. but what do you know?

sure ..there's that ;)

SO what exactly are you trying to say there then? The first line may well be true, he could easily not be impeached, but that doesn't mean the second part of your post is true. The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN etc are all reporting what is going on with Trump, his family, businesses and his government. The vast majority of which has been provided from leaks inside the WH and his own administration, so unless you are using echo chamber effect as a euphemism for truth and facts, then I don't quite get which other sources you would suggest? because 90% are all reporting off the exact same page, and that is the truth, the other 10% are Breitbart and Fox and co...

Which news media outlets do you consume where a sitting President being criminally investigated for obstruction of justice is a good thing? We're that far away from reality that Trump is under personal investigation and people think that's 'fake news' or 'echo chamber'.

Yes echo chambers do exist on the left and the right but at some point we have to start recognising that facts are facts. There will be dozens, probably hundreds, of America's best lawyers investigating a billionaire with all the tact and intellect to confess to sexual assault whilst talking to a reporter wearing a fecking microphone. He admits to obstruction of justice ON TELEVISION. And this investigation will look into all aspects of Trump's business dealings, make no mistake. The investigation into Clinton that led to the Lewinsky scandal and subsequent impeachment had nothing originally to do with Monica Lewinsky The chances of them finding a thread and pulling on it and it pulling on it and destroying this man, I'd say is high.

I don't get how anyone could look at that and think "Nope, he'll be fine" and accuse others of living in an echo chamber.

All I'm saying is that while it is true that he is under investigation for all the alleged crimes, all these news sources from the "MSM" (as he/his supporters call them) seem to just cut to the chase and imply that they're getting rid of him and/or have him impeached/jailed. It is not a given that Trump WILL be impeached and/or WILL be jailed, regardless of whatever the media outlets may say/want you to believe. For all we know one of these investigations will lead to some guy taking the fall for him.

The "echo chamber" effect I referred to is folks believing that something ridiculous as impeachment and/or jail time for a sitting president is ever going to happen in a country as divided along party lines as America. Keep an eye out on /r/the_donald and see for yourself how some of the Trump supporters are lapping up everything he/his team have to say. And yet, here we are talking about impeachment and what not. :D

A: Yes, it is true
B: It's not about what the 'MSM' wants us to believe. It's what they're reporting via D.C. sources.
C: I don't think you understand the implications of A & B.

Indeed. I about vomited when a teary-eyed Ben Stein claimed Nixon was the most persecuted president and he was a saint.

Trump must be reenacting the movie again into real life:

Trump: 'You are witnessing the single greatest WITCH HUNT in American political history'

This is what happens when you have so much to say but you cant -- Putin The Constipated is the result.

Just watching now. Very similar. I also see why they say the Trump campaign shenanigans could dwarf Watergate.

"The great thing is that nobody thinks we could have done it". I was struck by just how much contempt they had for the American public there.

Then I went on Fox News. This is equally sickening to me. Palpable contempt for the idea that two parties work together in the interests of the nation, rather than against each other in the interests of themselves.

EDIT: This is the original documentary which I assume MSNBC have built upon.

Watching MSNBC's All the President's Men revisited.

Shocking similarities.

Saw bits of it last night. In certain ways Trump has outdone Nixon in his efforts to shut down the investigation. Firing Rosenstein and Mueller would be the final straw imo.

Trump has certainly outdone Nixon -- for the sheer level stupidity but more critical is the national security aspect.
His financials were always an issue so he should never have gone in to start with. (No other reason for not declaring his tax returns.) A pure ego stroke that could and should lead to his downfall.

It's a bit sad that I'm disappointed to wake up in the morning and find the President of my country hasn't said anything outrageously stupid in the past 12 hours.

I wish Trump paid as much attention to his presidency as langy does.

A member of Donald Trump’s legal team has denied the president’s own assertion that he is under investigation for obstruction of justice.

Jay Sekulow, chief counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice, appeared across the major political talk shows on Sunday.

Speaking on CBS’s Face the Nation, he said: “The fact of the matter is the president has not been and is not under investigation.”

I caught that but as visitors walked in. I was scratching my head thinking I misheard him.
