Is anyone really surprised that Trump's lawyer (or one of them) is a fecking moron? I think 99.9% of people he surrounds himself with, employs or has given a cabinet position to would fit in that category so it's only fitting that his lawyers are too.
He wants cheerleaders, not so much competent staff.
He had a clear strategy of dropping talking points that Trump wasn't under investigation and made a complete mess of it each time.
Its a variance of that ''say's who'' Michael Cohen defence.
Straight out of Trump University's Business Law 101 class. 'Deny what you said was true even if you said if were taped saying it.'
tbf to anyone who has to professionally represent Trump. You will be made to look like a professional liar simply because of the word pretzel that Trump puts you in even before meeting the Press. Such a super fine line to walk/spin with what you have to say before anyone trips themselves up.

Yup, that's what makes it so funny. As @sglowrider says though, Trump does it to everyone. Anyone trying to defend Trump is on the back foot from the start, and more often than not are handicapped by something Trump himself has said or said in contradiction to. It's as thankless as it is nigh on impossible why anyone would want to put themselves in that position is beyond me. It has to be arrogance or ignorance, either way, it's hilarious for the rest of us.

It was really a punt knowing full well that Trump really isnt your run of the mill CEO of a supposedly multi-billion dollar empire with '22,450 employees' (according to their wiki site.)
No one you know who had led 22,000+ company/org behaves like him. The CEOs know it but he doesnt. Now that objective is unlikely to be achieved, they appear to look like you are tied to the Trump mast? Its almost befriending Rolf Harris at this point.

Its time for sources in the intel community to leak to the NYTimes/WashPo/CNN that Mensch/Claude are liars and their claims are fabrications.
Too many on the left are still believing them and its why people still have high expectations.

NYTimes/WashPo/CNN are the ones who have been ahead of the rest in their exclusives in the Russia hacking.
If the intel sources brief those 3 media organisations that Claude/Mensch are lying, then they will lose way more credibility and will become tarnished.

That account has gotten several things wrong. I used to follow and enjoyed the tweets but I've forced myself to unfollow and not fall for the nonsense. It's important we don't share made up stuff.

I look at that account the same way as I did Denald. In truth, it wouldn't surprise me if it was the same person behind both accounts. I agree about not sharing fake rubbish or conspiracy theories, but I think that account is definitely satirical.

Oh I'm with you there. Reality is surreal and we are mimicking entertainment on a daily basis. The lines between satire and actual news or even fake news has distorted so much. One of my favourite comedians Adam Hills made a great point when I went to see him recently. He said that most people would think Trump is a blessing for a comic to mock, but as Adam says, it's not that simple really because the jokes have gone from writing themselves to now being so unbelievable that people just don't know if it's real or not and if they should laugh or cry. Trump and his actions have become too easy a target if that makes sense?
I have lost count of how many times I or someone else in here has said that something is "unbelievable" or "you couldn't make this up" or "this writes itself" etc..... Honestly, if you stop, take a breath and sit and look back from everything that has happened from the election onwards.. A daily Trump timeline so to speak, you will just find yourself scratching your head in disbelief and muttering "feck me" constantly. The only word that comes close to describing it all is insanity. Pure insanity.
