Why did we skip @NoPace . The draft hasn't started yet and hence no deadlines, right?
 
The draft hasn't started? I'm confused. We're currently drafting players. There might be some new rules I'm not aware of so apologies if so, but my understanding of the situation was the draft is under way and the 8 hour window had expired. If not I'm happy to let NoPace take my pick if he wants.

The official start is today at 15 GMT - before that we are picking without the deadlines.

The plan was to start the draft on 25th May, 15:00 GMT. We announced it that way and didn't plan to change it. But because we had all rules figured out earlier and the draft junkies on here didn't want to wait anymore, we allowed to start the drafting but without the 8 hour deadline kicking in until the original kick-off time. No big deal, if you missed it between all the posts, but Joga mentioned it:

@NoPace has until 23:00 GMT today (15:00 GMT + 8 hours for the deadline) to make his pick, after that it's your turn.
 
No need to delete Brwned's post unless he wants to. If Nopace picks the same player, Brwned can pick someone else. If Nopace picks someone different, we just continue with the next manager after Brwned.

Just use threadmarks. It's an even better way for someone to check if something new and important was announced.

Yep. Timer started running at 1500 hours, so deadline is 2300 hours.

Keep in mind what the OP states: If someone doesn't pick on time, just push on (no need for any gentlemanly waiting around). The no-show simply picks at his earliest convenience - so just keep it rolling.
