Brilliant how you're fully accepting of Furys issues, but you don't seem to take any notice of the heavily published family issues of Wlad around the fight. Yes I am suggesting that. It's ridiculously obvious the Wlad who fought Joshua was a different beast to the one who fought Fury. Even you cant pretend that wasn't the case.

You still haven't explained your point.
It was the same fighter. Styles make fights, Joshua was right there in front of Wlad so he was able to show his skills. Fury was never in his range.

Good for him. But that doesn't change what I said, dummy.

Nobody wanted to see the fight after the first.
I did. So did the above poster. Stop talking shit. Wlad also wanted the fight again. He had a rematch clause, dummy. Sadly, Tyson Fury is a proven drugs cheat and that's why the rematch didn't happen.

Still, he's great, though, isn't he?

Clearly it wasnt. Fury had been caught and hurt plenty of times by boxers with half the quality of Klitschko. Klitschko barely threw a punch in the fight.

It clearly wasn't the same Wlad. He'd been coasting for years, feasting on blown up cruiserweights and journeymen mandatories.

The level of quality isn’t always the most important factor in a fight, especially in HW boxing

So Klitschkos style, technique and hand speed meant he struggled to connect or throw shots where Furys other opponents didn't?

Fury had a gameplan for Wlad. Do you really think Fury went into the Cunningham fight with a gameplan? Of course Wlad underestimated Fury in their first fight, but it doesn’t change the fact that Fury is a stylistic nightmare for Wlad.

He didn't throw a punch because of family reasons?

I agree nobody wanted to see that fight again, a boring 12 round jab fest, sorry 'masterclass' from fury.

I definitely wanted to see the rematch though, a focused vlad was a totally different proposition and beats fury quite comfortably imho

"I'm sorry guys, let's fight again and next time I'll be focused".

Fair enough he was entitled to his rematch and for reasons it didn't happen. But at the time people were in uproar over what a shit fight it was. There's no changing that, especially for Wlad.

Exactly. It's amazing the lengths people go to discredit Fury. I saw the same with Mayweather, people couldn't appreciate his strong defensive game and made up excuses as to why he was winning in a lot of fights that they'd predicted he'd lose. Obviously he's far more talented than Fury but the same applies a bit here.

@Kazi has pretty much explained how I see it. Like he said, styles make fights. Joshua is there to be hit, Fury wasn't. Which fight makes Wlad look better?

All I said was that nobody wanted to see it again at the time. Only since AJ Vs Klitschko has it gained a bit of relevance again to those that want to prove AJ is better than Fury, or his was the better win. It probably was in terms of entertainment, but in terms of hitting your opponent and not being hit, Fury did a good job.

He landed under 3 more punches a round and less than 100 in total. Masterclass.

Which is exactly why fights can’t be measured by punch stats
But posts saying "but in terms of hitting your opponent and not being hit, Fury did a good job" can go unchecked. Hmmm....

Which is what happened when you watched the fight. I honestly don’t pay much attention to punch stats when judging how a fight is going. It’s just a few random guys pressing a button.

What a load of shite. Boxing fans are the biggest mugs ever, too thick to realise they’ve been truly fecked over.

Compete set up

After two years out of the ring he needed a warm up fight and a few rounds under his belt. Not sure anyone expected him to win this quickly. He took Porter 10 rounds and Brook conqueror Spence 3 rounds.

Sky are really excited by that. I’m confident Thurman, Spence & Garcia would defeat him. Anyway, he needs to fight Brook & stop avoiding him.

FFS I would be fuming if I had paid good money to watch that, it was a clear set up , set up for an easy Khan win and people wonder why some think Boxing is fixed !
We get it, you hate Khan.

Now if you're suggesting fixing I am sure you'll report it to the appropriate authorities.

it was so blindingly obvious the other guy had zero intentions of putting up a fight, I could’ve give Khan a better fight than that.

I presume tickets would’ve been £100+ but Can those morons in attendance not see they’ve been completely mugged off and that fight was fixed. I can and I don’t even watch boxing at all.

You'd think they'd make a fixed fight last a round maybe or two so the internet detectives like yourself wouldn't be onto them so quickly.
