Joshua is in a position where if he lost to Wilder/fury, people would say he had it coming, he didn't have the technique etc.

If he beat them however, it be theyre old/they have shit foot work/not a real test yet etc.

Despite holding 4 world titles in 20 odd fights, unbeaten, he actually can't win.

Oh, other than linking homosexuals to paedophilia and his stance on women and religion he's a stand up guy. You must have a delightful circle of friends.

See my friends. Now those are people who's opinions I care about. Boxers I tend to focus more on, well the boxing.

In most people minds, heavyweight class is a pretty shit division, to be fair.

Joshua is likely the best there (unless Fury makes a return).
Yeah, it is. No one here is claiming he's the next GOAT candidate. He's actually advanced pretty far in such a short amount of time. The man didn't start boxing until he was an adult and could unify the division by 22 fights. He deserves credit for that. And for being the only boxer who is actually trying to prove he is the best fighter in the division with his fists and not his mouth.

Yeah. Those boxers who haven't fought in 3 years are all about the boxing.

You want to know why I dislike him, I outlined why he's a cnut and now you don't want to talk about it. Great stuff!

Parker beat Hughie Fury on a MD ffs......... Hughie feckin Fury.
That's all you need to know.

A boxers personality is a big part of boxing in fairness. Tyson Fury is easy to dislike. Cus he's a cnut.

I just reckon it would be silly to have much interest in social commentary from 20 something's who get punched in the head for a living.

I focus on if I like them as a fighter. Fury can have entertaining fights although I wouldn't say he's a favourite.

And the other argument to that is that Parker barley got touched too. Name a defining punch?
Last round he certainly takes a left to the liver.(having been on the end of a few liver shots, the delay is a sign it certainly hurt) You see his arm drop immediately to protect it and he grimisies a second or two after. Might have been the left actually. After that shot he was protecting it evidently so he was certainly hurt.

Put it this way: do you really think Joshua went after him, like he has done in his previous 20 fights that ended in a knock out?

I think AJ would have been way more agressive if the referee didn't interfere so much. The fight would have opened up nicely, and I think it would have been a lot less tactical than it was, which would have made it a lot more interesting for both fighters. I get that not every boxing match is a massive punch up, but again; I blame the ref more than anything. But cridit to AJ, he fought smart and he won without any problems.

I don't care why you dislike him. I just find your level of concern about it rather strange. If you feel the need to talk about it we can do, I suppose.

Klitschko easily for me. Heck, a fossil Klitschko almost beat Joshua.

Saying that, Joshua likely hasn't reached his peak yet.
huh? That was probably the best Klitchko there had been in about 5 years. He was properly game for it and showed why he such a great champion.

Yeah it did somewhat ruin the spectacle and it made Joshua's job that much easier.

You want cnut? Here you are:

Wilder To Be Investigated By WBC For 'Wanting a Body' Comment

“I want a body on my record, I want one,” Wilder said to the show.

“That’s the Bronze Bomber, he want [a body]. I always tell people, when I’m in the ring, like I am the Bronze Bomber. With him, it’s so crazy, when I’m in the Bronze Bomber, I don’t really care. Everything about me changes. I don’t get nervous, I don’t get scared, I don’t get butterflies, I don’t have no feeling towards the man I’m fit to fight.

Unbelievable.

it was a punch, nothing defining, didn't lead to any kind of onslaught or finish by Joshua.

You started this ffs....

I'm sorry Tyson Fury did whatever he did to make you dislike him with such passion.

And now you don’t want to talk about it? What an awful few posts. :wenger:

He was also 40 years old. A younger Klitschko beats Joshua with ease IMO.
He would have beat him that fight if he jumped on him after the knockdown, but for some reason he stood off

 Getting behind in an argument? Claim the other poster is obsessed! I don't know why you're so hell bent on defending the honour of Fury, but each to their own.

Edit: What @Regulus Arcturus Black said.

Yeah because the ref got involved just after the punch landed and I don’t think Joshua was aware he had hurt him. Fact remains, a punch landed which caused Parker to stop and think about it and protect that area.

And the ref got involved when Joshua looked hurt from a shot and backed up onto the ropes early on.

Wilder was 19, unbeaten in 40, 39 by KO yet some folks think he is a joke.

Wilder has an imposing physique, speed and raw power. He’ll always have punches chance against anyone and he is unorthodoxed. He stepped up a level when he faced Ortiz. But he hasn’t yet faced the quality of the likes of Klytsjko or even Parker in terms of boxing skills. AJ also has an imposing physique, speed and raw power, but his footwork and boxing skills are far superior than that of Wilder. All I’m saying is bring it on!

Probably him being so old played a part on it, he probably was out of gas considering that he was floored in the previous round.

A younger more energetic Klitschko is significantly better than Joshua in pretty much every aspect (bar the punch power where it is close, and both had enough to floor anyone).

Behind? You've moved the goalposts from some weird view that Fury had a masterplan to avoid fights to him being unlikable. How nice a fella he is or isn't doesn't really matter to me.

You feel free to tell me the actual point you are making here. Clearly and concisely then I will be happy to either agree or debate you on it.

Basically this is you saying "Tyson Fury is a prick. I hate him" and me saying "okay".

And maybe a peak 32 year old AJ beats Wlad. Why are we even discussing shit we have absolutely no idea about?
Maybe. I have no idea how good a 32 years old Joshua will be, we saw how good Wlad was.

I didn't make that hypothetical question.

People are extremely defensive towards Joshua, like a religious cult.

Can’t say I saw AJ take a decent punch from Parker at all. What round was that in?
Can't remember the exact round. All I remember is aj taking a shot, him looking hurt, stumbling back onto the ropes where he tried to start throwing a few counters then the ref for some reason broke it up

Just look at those names. How do you get to 40 fights with a 39 year old Ortiz as your biggest fight?

Parker? Ortiz for me is a better fighter than Parker.
Parker is average as a heavyweight.

When Wilder connects you go........................
