Hope he’s ok. Brutal knockout, awful fight.

Whyte looked really good and has called out Wilder.

Browne was awful. Hope he's ok though. The Aussies really can't fight can they!

Whyte vs Wilder I would definitely watch, pretty much explosions guaranteed. Reckon Whyte deserves a shot at the big fights again

Yeah he does. I actually think a fight with him and Wilder would be interesting. Do you think it'll happen?
I guess it depends on AJ. If he wins against Parker (which I think he will) then he fights who he wants, and everyone wants him.

I only got to watch up to Whyte's interview, but why no reply of the KO? Because of how severe it looked?

Whyte did some nice work with his left hand last night but Browne was nothing more than a punching bag.

Yeah I'd guess so. They have shown it since after the event when they realised he was ok.

Whyte looked better than he normally does to his credit but Browne was terrible. Think it was mentioned in this thread a while ago when we were discussing British heavyweights, I reckon all of them beat Browne easily, Joshua, Whyte, Fury, Chisora...I'd throw Joe Joyce in to that list as well.

Looking forward to this weekend some decent talent on the card all the way down it really. Should be a good one.

David Higgin's (Parker's promoter) crying about Joshua being late at the press conferences so far, and reckon's Joshua not sleeping well worrying about Parker :lol:Bring on the fight night already, bloody hell!

I bet he will but he would obviously deserve it (being banned). (I want to see the fight, but really, it would make a mockery of the sport of he wasn't banned).
Canelo needs to just provide a hair sample and then he'll clear himself if he thinks he's clean. Too bad he doesn't and that Clen is likely just one of the enhancements he's taking.

The fight is already ruined for me. Poor scoring in the first fight and now all of this crap and let's be honest if they are willing to sanction him does anyone believe the second fight will have a fair decision? Canelo will win a deserve he doesn't deserve IMO.

Stop whining, Canelo is the GoldenBoy

'They should know that meat in Mexico has the potential to be contaminated, therefore, Don't eat meat in Mexico'

He’s right in fairness to him. It’s such a weak excuse people Constantly give out. Bit brave of Eddie to criticize drug users though considering some of the fighters he promotes (one fighting this weekend for example...)

Dan Rafael at ESPN thinks the fight is likely to be cancelled and Canelo suspended. I'm coming around to that way of thinking too.

I can’t see it not going ahead, mah be wrong (hopefully I’m not.)

Eddie also signed Luis Ortiz after he had been done previously.

Yeah true forgot about that. Never really got the Ortiz one with Hearn it seemed a bit out of nowhere really. I always thought he may of just signed him to make it easier to feed him to Joshua. He was a big name when he signed him and meant to be this "feared" heavyweight. I think that absolute stinker he had with Malik Scott in Monaco followed by Dave Allen nearly going the distance kind of turned Hearn off all that.

Did anyone see the video of him blasting Wilder? Supposedly he has been paid to come to the fight this weekend and he has decided not to go. Seems like a stupid idea by Wilder, he wants publicity to be a bigger name and effectively all the top heavy weights will be at this event except him. He’s full of sh!t about people ducking him and so on.

Part of me hopes it’s a publicity stunt by him and he will be there but seriously if he isn’t there what a moron.

Hearn is a bit OTT with that though, I can see Wilder's point of view.

Hearn said Wilder can't get in the ring after the fight to promote it, he's just got to stand there really. Wilder then decided not to come cos it's a waste of time doing that and then Hearn has said he never said that and it's the boxing board who decide (which is a lie...Wlad got in the ring with AJ before their fight.) I think it was just Hearn talking bollocks which he is capable of doing, I don't know if Wilder will be there but he has been stitched up a bit.

Hearn is in a great position though. I'm sure he wanted Wilder there to set up potentially 2 fights. He'd of tried setting up Whyte vs. Wilder and then either Wilder vs. AJ or Whyte vs. AJ II. 2 of them fighters he promotes so he's quids in twice there really. He's twisted it to make Wilder look an idiot as well now fair play to him for doing that I suppose.

Wilder doesn’t need to even be in the ring to promote the fight. One of Wilders main problems is not a lot of people don’t really know who he is. He should be there to promote himself so he can demand the sort of money he thinks he is worth. I just think who ever is advising him is a moron. He was hired to be part of sky’s pundits where he’ll get coverage.
Heck Ali drove a bus to Frasers house and was on his lawn with a loud speaker demanding a fight, now Wilder is going to get paid to view it and promote himself and he can’t be bothered to go.

Hearn also said they’ve upped their offer to Wilder for a fight (I presume, he wasn’t clear)

He’s a good talker though and I’m guessing he enjoys doing it. If he wants to get in there why not let him? He’s hardly gonna start boxing. Him talking is probably his best promotion. It seems a way to hold him back if anything and make all focus on Joshua for any potential build up. My guess is Hearn isn’t arsed, he either fights AJ or whyte or he gets stripped so Hearn is quids in. I think they’re making him look a bit of a mug when at this moment they aren’t to bothered about the Wilder fight. AJ can get another easy fight. Wilder has to fight Whyte and winner fights AJ. I can’t blame him for not being that bothered to go with how they’ve set it up, he’s literally going to just watch a fight..he probably has a tele so can watch it at home

I agree they should allow him in the ring but he should be there no matter what. The worst thing for his career (bank) is AJ losing, and if that happens he needs to be there to hype himself vs Parker.

It’s all about marketing and he should be there, it honestly makes it seem like he really isn’t all that intrested in a fight with AJ. Apparently he has had offers to fight and turned them down. Who to beleive no idea but he has already been lining up excuses of how the judging would be unfair and so on if it goes the distance in the UK.

Honestly sounds like a man comfortable where he is to me. However Whyte would I think be an intresting right, would surely have to be in the UK also as that is where the money is in the heavyweight division. Although if Joshua wins I think for unifications there is a rule where they’ll wave the mandatory challenger.

It’s also a lot more than just him going to watch a fight. Again it’s about marketing and drumming up intrest in the fight and it honestly just seems foolish. You’ll probably have the who’s who of heavyweights past and present. Honestly just seems like an incredibly stupid move to me, but whatever I’m not a boxer or a promoter

I reckon they’d try and drum up more interest in him vs Whyte which he’s probably not that interested in. I’m sure AJ and Wilder would fight each other tomorrow but I think Hearn sees more money for himself in making a Whyte vs Wilder fight first. Him not being allowe I get in the ring is just s bit odd. I agree he may be a bit silly not going but he has been stitched up s bit and I think the same would happen Saturday
