Definitely will break his heart.

Nomaschenko will make another show.

On your No Mas reference. Have you watched the 30 for 30 documentary of the same name? Was recommended to me by a friend. Haven't got around to it yet but it's meant to be awesome.

Lomachenko-Linares  High speed chess both guys have beautiful offenses and movement. Obviously Lomachenko will win but I think he'll lose some rounds and be tested. Going to make the trek to NYC for this one too.

I think it was good. One of the better one's. I didn't really like their other Boxing 30/30's but this one was pretty cool even though I don't like the whole "No Mas" thing since it was a made up term by Leonard fanboys in the media. Those two fighters are unbelievable though. Possibly the two best living fighters in a historical sense.

He's an excellent fighter but has always divided opinion. Most of the folks I watch Boxing with are Mexican and some of them flat out don't like Canelo. Most prefer GGG. He's actually a better fighter than I thought he'd turn out to be but I remember that incident in the article when Marquez correctly pointed out that the WBC are being favorable to him. He was ranked #1 in a division he'd beaten no top contenders in and they put him in with Matthew Hatton (despite Hatton not even fighting at the division) and Canelo didn't make weight and they still sanctioned it for the title. Marquez was stating facts and being fair as he always is when you see him talk Boxing but Canelo got all pissy with him. Canelo has always been cocky with his whole "my era" and has definitely being given privileges other fighters wouldn't be given and now to find out he's a cheater and they have his back too is going to make it hard for him to truly win the people over.

I think he's not just not as good as the likes of Chavez, Marquez, Sanchez, Olivares, Barrera, Morales, Lopez, Zarate, Saldivar, Canto etc; and will never be as good. He'll certainly never be beloved those guys were. I think he's an excellent fighter though but I don't think he'll be recognized as a legend that's loved by his public. Much like Miguel Cotto in Puerto Rico. People would think you are nuts if you put him in the same breath as Trinidad, Gomez, Ortiz, Benitez etc;
Canelo’s already achieved so much for his age and will continue to build his legacy. He also seeks greatness badly. I see him as the Mexican James Toney. When it’s all said and done, Canelo’s greatness will be up there IMO.

He's a better boxer than people give him credit for. Hope GGG smashes him though.

He has had a very good career to date IMO. I had him losing to GGG, but felt he did well. He also deserved the wins over Trout and Lara. A legit win over GGG will go a long way but could and probably will be slightly tainted with his failed PED tests.

I recently did a list for a friend of the top 20 Mexican fighters of all-time and had him around 17-18. If his next few years goes how I think it will I think he'll end up just outside the top 10 but firmly inside the top 15.

11 days till Joshua- Parker. Feck sake, I can't wait to see Parker vet KO'ed.
I haven't seen much of Parker but I've been largely underwhelmed by him. Seems he and especially his manager/promoter talk a little too much. They remind me of Jeff Horn and his team. I can't wait to see them put back in their place by Crawford.

The GOAT Jeff Horn is for real

Would be so funny if he can overcome Crawford somehow. Obviously he’s gonna get smashed, but will be so funny. Horn has been a great internet meme since he beat Manny.

I can't stand the guy. Completely rubbed me the wrong way. Got a gift decision over the shell of Pacquaio and has been on the most over exaggerated victory lap, mouthing off about Pacquaio and others and writing a book!!!! Now he and his promoter can't shut up and are making all kinds of silly claims. He's going to be made to look like a total amateur by Crawford. He's so easy for Crawford, he didn't even bother going to Australia to see him up close. He'll hammer him.

He just looks 'ok' at everything doesn't he rather than having any real strengths. He doesn't come across as a nervous/beaten man though - i reckon he geniunely thinks he can win.

Personally i thought Joshua looked poor against Takam when he was shown a bit of movement. He doesn't look great when he has to press a fight and his timing looks off.

If i were in Parker's team i'd be telling to move a lot for the first half of the fight and see how Joshua is down the stretch if he's been hitting thin air.

I dunno what it was with the Takam fight. I think part of it was probably a lack of motivation due to the late replacement. Probably knew it was a much easier fight than what he was scheduled to have. He did look poor but equally it was a bit of an exhibition really.

I guess every fighter can have an off night especially against an average opponent and coming off a huge event/win. Joshua did look flat and caused many to curb their enthusiasm just a little. The Parker fight should give us proper insight to his level currently. If he dominates and looks great I think everyone will just assume he blows Wilder out but if he's given a fight I think Joshua-Wilder odds tighten. I think what's best for him is a fight where Parker does well and gives him some rounds.

Never seen Parker live but I watched his fight against Hughie Fury on YouTube the other day. Thought him taking the W there was a bit wrong from what I saw, Hughie Fury won imo.

I don't think Parker looks good under pressure and i don't think he's got serious power either. His technical ability isn't great either, repetitive 1-2 combination etc. Basically I think the public are being sold another bum fight for Joshua here.

Parker will have to have one hell of a chin, drag Joshua to the title rounds and put it on him then if he wants to beat him. If it's an early finish then it's going one way.

Takam gave Parker a good fight too. Thought he looked uncomfortable a lot during that fight.

Parker’s biggest strengths going into this fight are probably his chin and the fact that he 100% believes in himself. I don’t think he’s as elusive as he’s being built up as, expect Joshua to stop him in the mid-late rounds.

He doesn't look elusive at all to me, he looks pretty basic in fact. Look how much he got hit in the only two fights I saw against Takam and Fury. I'm not a big believer in Joshua like some, but he'll put this guy away when he feels like it is my current thinking.

I've noticed that when he is getting hit with combinations he seems to panic a little and instead of covering up or moving his head or feet, he puts his arms out to block shots. I see no way he survives this fight unless he does have some godlike chin.

You are my hero.

What do you think of Jamie McDonell v Godzilla (Inoue)?
You've got to favor Inoue big but I think McDonell will be his toughest test to date. I can see McDonell winning a round here and there and losing on points. Inoue is a special fighter IMO and will be one of this era's defining fighters along with Lomachenko and Crawford.

Linares is a top fighter but the way he faded against Luke Campbell may bring out another Nomaschenko. But I guess now all future Loma opponents are now so aware of this that they will stay the full course.

Linares is a boxer at the end of the day and you’re not outboxing Lomachenko. You need to pressure him with ugly tactics if you want a chance.

Who you picking? I think nearly everyone I've seen has Loma. Linares is a top quality fighter though.
I'm picking Lomachenko big. I think Linares will present his toughest challenge in years though and the skill and speed level will be high but Lomachenko will find the patterns and flaws he needs in Linares' offense and defense and then dominate the second half.

Linares has always shown he's a sucker for a southpaw's left and has a hard time with them but he does possess incredible speed and lovely variation in his punches so Loma won't just come in, figure him out and beat him down from the first round as he has done every fight since Salido.

I was very impressed with Campbell that night. He looked outclassed early and got dropped and hurt but then was the boss winning I believe 6 of the last 8 rounds. The knockdown was the difference in my score. Campbell had a good bit of size on him it looked to me.

I just read that Linares has split with his trainer ahead of the Lomachenko fight. That really doesn't bode well for him. I think he's a class boxer and felt it was a challenging first assignment for Loma at lightweight, but this is awful preparation.

Linares had trained in England for some fights and his trainer is training David Haye. I think Linares probably felt that was disrespectful to prioritize Haye's training camp given that he's trained Linares for so long and barely came on board for Haye.

I also think Linares' probably prefers to train in Japan (as he's most often done) for a few of reasons
- He's earning $1m which is $750k more than his highest purse so he can keep more of the purse to himself
- He can get more sparring with faster boxers with more movement and southpaws too.
- Let's face it, no trainer is going to crack the Lomachenko code just like that and he's experienced enough he probably has a clearer idea of how he wants to fight. He is probably eyeing this as one of his last bouts and really may just need someone who whips him into shape and carries his bucket fight night.

Best training he'll get for facing Loma is probably from Playstation tbf.

Dillian Whyte v Lucas Browne for the WBC Silver heavyweight title @ O2 London tonight.

Who've you all got? I've got Whyte to win by late stoppage or points. Looking forward to this one.

Whyte on points. Hopefully we then see him fight Wilder with winner getting AJ providing he beats Parker.
