I'll be giving clubs a bit of a break what with playing fut so I'm def up for a big session sometime. I miss enjoying games. feck you pro clubs.

Be around Friday. Not too likely Saturday. Sunday and then allllll next week I'm off work for the Christmas.

The new cars and garages cost a pretty penny - the Ruiner 2000 is $5.7m, and a fully upgraded 60 car garage is $5.2m...

I'm at $4.2m...so a ways to go for the Ruiner (will get this before I get the garage I think...)

So am definitely up for making money!!

The reason they have two prices is that after you do a number of the Import / Export missions, then you unlock special missions that feature one of these vehicles. Once you have completed that mission, then you can buy the vehicle for the lower price. Apparently this version of the vehicle is also better than the stock one you can buy immediately.

Nice. Not that I have any chance of doing the Import/Export missions any time soon. Forever broke.

Problem for me is even if I was to pick up GTA again I am so far behind in terms of money etc its pointless in me doing so.

I wouldn't say that - I think most people have around $1m.

Some of the new vehicles look really good - and there are more that have yet to be unlocked and made available. SO I would assume that most people will be looking to make some money - be that by races, missions or heists. So no reason not to join up for that.

The downside to the new Import/Export jobs is that if you do them with someone else, then, just like the CEO work, they get a very small amount - so not much incentive to do them in groups unfortunately since people could make more just doing them themselves.

The special missions need to be done with multiple people apparently - although these function like missions, so there won't be random players while you are doing them.

When you sell the vehicles you have stolen, if you have a cargobob then you can use that to deliver the cars and avoid NPCs :)

I bought a warehouse last night so will have a go of the stealing/selling missions tomorrow. They're not huge money makers - you don't get the selling price of the vehicle you have stolen, rather you get a commission on it. But I think it is more enjoyable doing these than the CEO crate missions - at least you get decent cars to drive!

To unlock the Ruiner at the reduced price, you need to do 32 steal / sell missions. But then you would save $1.4m on the price - so well worth it. Plus you get the money you make from each of the missions themselves. There is a 15 minute cool down timer between selling cars.

The cheapest warehouse to buy to enable you to do the import/export missions is $1.5m - once you buy that then you can steal and sell the vehicles.

Mother of god....they is a R34 Skyline!
Is that the Elegy Retro Custom one?

I am going to try and get the Ruiner 2000 asap - although will do the import/export jobs to unlock the cheaper one. You can mod the car at LSC (although this is just the usual performance mods - not anything visual except wheels), so will need more than the base price anyway.

Some of the other vehicles look fun - the Technical that can go on water looks cool, as does the quadbike that can also go on water. I think the other vehicles will be a buy as you go type thing for me.

In saying that, the Tempesta is apparently the one of the fastest car in the game (along with the X80 Proto) and just behind the RE-7B and only costs just over a million - so that one seems a good deal and I like the looks of it too. Drives exceptionally well too:

I have already traded in my X80 Proto - might trade in my Tyrus for the Tempesta - think it looks better and is faster and handles just as well if not better. Might do that right off, and then will get the money from the Import/Export jobs to make up the rest of the cost of the Ruiner 2K.

Not feeling the need to expand my garage just yet - that's lower down the list of priorities!

Are others up for making money on this - so missions / heists etc, or races and general freeroam nonsense? :)

I'm up for anything, depending how many are on, if there is 8 we could do heists as 2 groups, if there is an odd number normal missions or races would be alright, shite if we leave people out though.

Agreed - no one should be left out.

Maybe some of the adversary modes (as pants as some are) are paying double.

Think we need to do rockets v insurgents etc :)

Been ages since we played that. No maze tower though please. What's the tron mode like for those who've tried it?
Always prefered the sniper one myself, had a certain sense of glory if you sniped someone.

Here's the special missions unlock requirements:

So the regular import/export missions can be done solo (although you are limited to selling vehicles individually if you are doing it solo), but the special missions require 2-4 people.

So once people have unlocked these will be good to team up and do them.

Let's target the special missions.
But you have to unlock them first through doing the import/export jobs - and there is a 20 or 30 minute cooldown on selling vehicles.

I bought a warehouse - so I could technically do the buying and selling missions - but then you have to do that in a public lobby - and if people were to be my associates, they would get a similar payout to doing the CEO missions - so not great for them.

Has anyone else bought a warehouse yet?

It's almost as though its best to do the import/export solo and then do the special missions when they unlock in groups (as you can't do those solo).
