Probably.

Last season wasn't his best one.

Between March 2015 and March 2016, he was a beast

Good news for @InLevyITrust @africanspur @LennonNL @GlastonSpur

Really a bargain in the current market. Fantastic acquisition.

Sold because PSG acquired an experiences RB like Dani Alves, otherwise, it would have been a tough battle between Meunier and Aurier for a seat in the starting 11.

Anelka and Benzema are described as bad boys in France, but they always had good relationships with their teammates.

Turns out Paris United know feck all as expected. They're backtracked on this. Di Mazio right again

I've read that United and Tottenham have submitted relatively similar offers but PSG would prefer Tottenham because

1. An intermediary known in the football business (Zahavi) has excellent relationships with Levy: true
2. The club doesn't want to strengthen viewed as a rival for the Champions League victory in the future

Like Monaco would have preferred to sell M'Bappé to Real Madrid instead of PSG.

Aurier would have preferred United but Pochettino called him also

Do PSG not consider Spurs to be an equally significant rival on the European stage? I find that a little odd if I'm being honest.

Not to mention the notion of a non Spurs affiliate having "excellent relations" with Daniel Levy.

Are United even interested, though? I'm yet to see any evidence to say that we are, at least nothing in the form of a concrete bid to match or even exceed that of Spurs' offer.

Bold move from Poch, finally showing intent to match that if his clubs ambitions. Would be a classy signing for them.

I have full faith in Valencia, but there is no getting around the fact that Aurier would be a significant upgrade. It would be insane to let this one slip by.

I think that it's a bit over the top, Benzema is described as a good guy with bad entourage while Anelka is described as a moody, slightly obnoxious man.

Anelka refused to join PSG as a back-up when Ancelotti (his former Chelsea coach) was in charge of the team.

Anelka played for Arsenal, City, Liverpool, Bolton, West Bromwich and Chelsea. It just means he was a manageable player like Aurier is nowadays.

You know why Anelka has bad relationships with medias, especially French ones like L'équipe.

No, Anelka has bad relationships with media because he doesn't like to be on the light which is also why some media don't like him, he isn't a good client. Also don't reduce everything to L'equipe. And only idiots say that Anelka isn't manageable, in fact I don't remember anyone serious saying something like that.

Damn. I really wanted him to sign for us.

Misunderstanding.

To sum up, my point is there a gap between the so-called reputation of players like Aurier and their manageability.

Oh sorry then. It's a bit like Ben Arfa, though Aurier seems to not be liked by his Ivory Coast teammates too, he is manageable but not very popular outside of El Khelaifi.

I personally couldn't care less about who Spurs acquire.

Horrific injustice has been done on you, lad. How you sleep at night is anyones guess.
Can't really. Levy's bald head floats around chuckling like Tony Pulis when I shut my eyes. It's purgatory. I only crave the sweet release of death.

He will be a great signing for Spurs, pretty much an identical replacement for Walker.

Apparently Trippier was a liability for Spurs today.

No. Let's not lump them all in.
Put this on the man who deserves it. Well done Trippier you brain dead plonker.

Caught out numerous times in the last 10 minutes and then he cost us. He is back up. End of.
Aurier in.

Our right hand side could probably bring a successful rape case based on the last 20 minutes.

Trippier god awful game for him

Just sell Trippier

Yeah we need aurier. How anyone thought trippier was as good as walker is mindblowing.

how many times has trippier given the ball away?

Trippier wants the draw or what? awful.

And so many other posts on TFC

Better player than Walker overall, for me. More dangerous crosser and makes less stupid mistakes positionally and defensively. Great move for Spurs.

Anyone know what they're saying? Video includes Bouhafsi who's very reliable

The same as previously posted in the tweets.

Aurier prefered us more, but PSG prefered Tottenham due to better offer and Zahvi and Levy link. He is going to Spurs

Aurier would have preferred United but PSG rejected United's offer because it was 5m inferior to the one made by Spurs.

Outbid by Spurs? Can't really seeing that being entirely accurate. If we wanted him enough to bid for him we wouldn't be beaten by £5m by Spurs...

I doubt we wouldn't match Spurs offer if we were really interested.

Can't believe we are going to get outbid by Spurs, that's madness and should never happen.

Who said we aren't going to go back in with another offer? Can see Spurs starting with a higher fee to try and beat us to the signing but if we're serious about this (and if we offered I'm sure we are) then surely we'll come back in with a higher offer
