Of course, I haven't watched Aurier, so I'm not making a judgement based solely off the stats because they can be miss-leading as we all know. I'll wait to see him for Spurs before I make a definitive judgement.

These stats suggest that Aurier is better defensively and inferior offensively.

Defence score Aurier 2015/16: 17.14 against 11 and 10 for Valencia.

I deeply believe in his revival and that he will the best right-back of the EPL. I'm sure he will enjoy life there!

If Aurier signed for Spurs, the only reason that I think why United didnt go for him is Mourinho is betting on TFM to be the eventual successor to Tony.

We might not have been looking to buy a cnut who has questionable and a disruptive attitude. Not heartbroken one bit. However, his footballing qualities aren't bad.

I tend to agree... I think levy is going to look like a genius getting aurier for significantly less than city paid for walker ... I think spurs have got a big upgrade in aurier

Even if that's true which it probably isn't, I don't think Jose would let that stand in the way of getting a good player now. He's shown that a few times.

Apparently we offered 5m less than Spurs did, and PSG preferred for him to go to Spurs because of their good relationship with the intermediary and because they didn't consider Spurs to be as much of a threat as we are in the CL.
 
He's a good player but his personality is poison. We are better off with an inferior player that doesn't risk disrupting team morale.
