Not again. We have to hold the managers responsible for the basic stuff. How is that Bournemouth, Wolves et al look miles above us in pressing and passing.
 
Starting to look a little grim to be fair. Don't get why he started playing with two defensive wingbacks. We looked so much better with Amad on the wingback.

Liverpool thought logically in hiring a manager that actually suits the players they had, we on the other hand went for a manager that does not fit with the current players and demands another never ending rebuild process

We’re committing way too few players forward. That’s on the formation, or rather his decision to make said formation overly defensive by picking defensive wing-backs.

We were terrible before this. How do you think we ended up sacking ETH?

We went into the season with a team that couldn't score. Also a team that was wide open in transition.

We are starting the game with 6 defensive players including Ugarte. What on earth did we think was going to happen!
 
He really needs to speak about referees. No other top 6 teams conceed more unfavourable calls than we do.

It feels like free for all for Man Utd to get decisions in which could go either way.

Honestly what the feck is he supposed to do. The players are idiots. There is so much bullshit every single game that just cannot be accounted for. He’s been here for 25 days. You can’t change a team from top to bottom in that time.
 
Expecting some dressing room leaks in the coming weeks. Players don't like the tactics, the training etc. Its guaranteed.
 
This thread makes no fecking sense. People agree this squad is shit yet blame him for not having said shit squad playing well as he tries to bring in his system? So he should scrap the system to better suit the players that people know are shit? Idiots

Perhaps don’t start the game with 6 defensive players so we can offer something going forward. That might help.
 
IMO the players haven't taken to him. Sadly player power is the biggest issue for any football club, you can't sack them all and let him bring in his own players. However many of these will never fit his system. They know it and so they are phoning in the performance levels. Keep losing matches though and his job will become untenable, it's an unenviable situation to find yourself in and he's a rookie manager with little experience of dealing with such issues.

The formation is part of the problem! It completely doesn't suit us and nullifies most of our attacking players. He needs to adapt otherwise he'll be sacked by Feb.
 
We’ve got Newcastle and Liverpool in our next two PL matches. He has to start winning games at some point…
 
This is all on the people who wanted to keep Ten Hag in the summer.

Amorim could have signed players that suited his formation and had a full pre season coaching his system.

We're now suffering the consequences.
 
Sad that some are only going to make it about the mistakes, sure they don't help but the first 45 mins were utter dross as well. Nothing is working.

He's supposed to abandon his style, his system, his tactics, and all his own ideas, and revert back to whatever formation is best suited to this group of idiots. Apparently

Yes, the squad is bad. Very bad infact. But it's not 13th bad.

I like Ruben but he has to show more before he can be trusted with money to buy players. Him having a free hit this season doesn't mean that he has a free pass to coast by & not improve us.

I think people are annoyed we have lost to Forest, Bournemouth and now could lose to Wolves. A few weeks ago we saw all these games as winnable.

This response does my head in…

The only season ETH played 4231 was his first season. And we came 3rd, won a cup, got to another final, and a European quarter final.

The following 2 seasons looked nothing like a 4231. There were never 2 in midfield.

It was a 4141… the fullbacks never overlapped… and the wide players hugged the touch line never coming in the channels. It was a completely different shape. And we were crap.

We did however play 4231 under Ruuds short tenure. And surprise, surprise… we were miles better.
