Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

Fine, and the stats reflect that. I felt the win was fortunate given how the last minutes went, we capitalised on the mistakes through and that means something in itself.

I just wish we can have posters not be dicks when someone has a different opinions and make up theories that Im against our manager.
You clearly seem to be

You’re in here whinging after we’ve just beaten City at the Etihad with two late goals. You sound annoyed.

There are clear signs of progress in terms of pressing, possession and organisation. A long way to go but clear signs. And what a result. And WHAT A PLAYER!

Whinging? Point out where I "whinged".
I said move on and youre still quoting me, its you who seems annoyed kid.

Some marginalized/useless players are resurrected under him: obviously Amad, and it seems like Maguire and Antony are next.

A higher tide raises all boats. So any player with the right attitude and work ethic will benefit.

Seriously what the feck does this have to do with Ten Hag?
Probably because of how funny it was you was so defensive of the last manager when we were doing horrendous but now with a new manager you’re being critical while we win.

Your post stood out to me too, I found it funny

Love this guy so far. Everything so far has seemed right. Great win for him

First post match press after a Sunday game I've ever listened to. Thought amorim was absolutely outstanding with his answers, especially to the tabloid hacks wanting to focus on rashford and garnacho. He really does seem the real deal.

I'm not being overly critical of the manager. Re read my post that got a couple of posters riled up. I said good things about our coach as well, and I think he's pretty much the real deal. I've never had a posting history with any adverse angle of our current coach. If anything I've said I'll probably back him longer than most like I did with Ten Hag (and perhaps that is the result of some anchoring in how I follow my team) - but posters will be dicks because they'll cherry pick what they read and ignore everything else.

Are you both broken? Youre evidently more obsessed with Ten Hag than I was accused of

Dig up my posts about Amorim and try not to get all sensitive.

Im unsure where Ive even insinuated it. This City side are utter wank and you can take a look at Spurs to see how other mediocre teams can destroy them. All im saying is I want to see us build with more probing attacks now, and that the win felt fortunate given how the last minutes went.

Literally none of this is contraversial.

Thrilled with the 3 points though, before some posters start crying about something else (not you, the posters above)
Sensitive?
We just had a brilliant win, I am absolutely elated..

And to top it off I'm having a hearty laugh at you, having been hopelessly and tirelessly wrong for a whole year, post after post after post, thousands of posts of being wrong

Don't you want to get it right just once?
All you needed to do was continue to praise the manager and you'd be fine. The posts should come easy, really, given how much you practised them.
Instead you switch to knitpicking about Amorim, "we got lucky", "I want to see us do" this and that, after an wonderful away win at City

It's quite an amazing talent to be so wrong so systematically.

Just watching the press conference - he's making clear that Rashford and Garnacho dropped based on performances, nothing to do with disciplinary issues.

Even if they are working their socks off, I do think that both players aren't suited to the 10 positions anyway.

This was our first away win against "top 6" in PL since Ole was sacked. Finally we are recovering.

Amorim quotes on Rashford is awesome, looks like Rashford will be gone, the way he is handling things is very good.

Sensitive?

Like Ten Hag ironically.

I'm thrilled with the win, but I'm a bit annoyed now to be fair because of posts like yours where you've assumed something completely false from a post that was not out to get anyone, nor was it whingy.

I've been right about of plenty of things - and I was wrong about Ten Hag, but I'm not going to let your ill informed and poor takes ruin my mood anymore - I'll enjoy my win and you can try not to get wound up from one post where I've credit our coach albeit feeling fortunate. Get over it, I'm happy, thrilled - I won't let you annoy me anymore.

As it should be. I don't think Rashford will get it at this point. We should really sell him this summer. None of this academy lad bollocks. This is another reason why winning today was so important for Amorim. If he lost today, media would have had a field day with him omitting both Rashford and Garnacho.

Amorim Presser highlights:

1. Very good statement on Rashford and Garnacho: “people are losing jobs at the club, we have the put the standards really high. Everything is important -the way you train, the way you DRESS, the way you engage with your teammates. It was not disciplinary. New week - new life.”

2.”Mount stretched his leg. He is very good player, like him very much”.

I love how Amorim made his point to the players. No show, no drama. Just left them out for a match. Relieved, Mounts injury is not heavy

The most obvious sign of change is the players trying to pass to a man who's tightly marked. This never happened under ETH. But we still delay the straightforward passes by two seconds.

Great press conference. He's an extremely intelligent person, speaks very well, and hits all the right spots. Notice how many times he said the word " Humble" while describing Amad and what's lacking in certain players. He's going to build this team the right way.

Love everything he has had to say so far. Sounds like he has the right combination of being a disciplinarian, but also personable to the players.

I hope and believe he is really starting to get a feel for which players he can trust, and which he can't. It is clear that it is the likes of Amad, Ugarte, De Ligt, and Mazraoui we need to build the team around.

He has done what we have all wanted for years and that is creating a competitive atmosphere amongst the squad. Nobody is safe from getting dropped, even dropped from the match day squad. He rewards players for hard work and the way he controls the media is brilliant, he spins everything in a positive manner.

Fair enough dude. I think we agree about Amorim anyway :)

That game under any other recent manager and we’re treating the ball like a hot potato.

Nowhere near the finished article yet but we look soo much more comfortable in possession now.
