Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

He coached a 2-0 but Bruno, Dalot and Anthony Taylor decided to make him lose. However, Amad made sure he got what he deserved by making both those goals happen.

First away win in the PL against any decent team since the Ole era. So 3 years plus.

Absolute statement win, not just against city away but against the big babies in the squad.

Very good set up, even when we were 1-0 down, we created better chances. City barely had a good chance.

Huge credit to him and team for playing with ball, instead of just playing defensive

Thank feck we finally put Ten Hag out of his misery. Not there yet but you can already see what Amorim is working towards

Might very well be making of him as a United manager, there are some games, due to nature of the game itself and circumstances whereby a result can settle you into a club and among the fanbase. Feels like this was it, at least I hope so.

Chuffed to the bits for him, you know knives would have been out for him had we lost given the big calls he took. Well done!

A few weeks ago he was preparing to host City with his Sporting team and had no idea about the Utd move. Footballs a funny game.

Sends Rashford and Garnacho out of the squad of reasons ETH would never do it for, and then takes a win at City in the final minutes.

Huge, huge, huge night for Amorim. Huge respect for his leadership today.

He has got us to score 4 in a game and has got us winning away against a big 6 team. ETH did not manage to do both.

Made some huge calls before the game and got a massive result in very dramatic fashion. Love him already.

I know we lost vs Arsenal, but this is his second game against a big team that I feel we were not outplayed at all. With Ole and ETH, if we were losing, we were losing with hands down and usually tried to counter (in the away games at least).

I've not been particularly impressed with anyone manager since Fergie and have been very negative about them all. But I have a good feeling about this guy.

Not only that, but we look comfortable keeping the ball against the top teams now. The transformation has been insane.

Been saying it here for a couple weeks. We look cohesive. Like an actual team. The improvement under him is palpable and he’s hardly had anytime with the players/for coaching.

If recruitment backs him up with quality, we’ll be competing for the league soon

We were the better side all game today.

He’s truly awesome. I have no doubt at all that he’s an excellent coach and if we support him he’s going to make us competitive again.

And I’d have said the same even if we lost today because for the first time in a while we actually look like we know what we are doing.

The progress is quite clear but some people want him to abandon his system.

It will be even better in the second half of the season.

To be able to implement a style of football in such a short time in the middle of a crap season shows that he knows what he is doing

Not just a win, but a mission statement after the omissions of both Rashford and Garnacho from the match day squad. It's 343 with lots of hard work and no room for dressing room drama. Get on with the program.

From calls to write off the season and avoid relegation to looking at 3 points away from 6th and 6 away from 4th, belief goes a long way
