Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

How does Amorim look ‘way too soft’?
Almost everyone talk about Bruno's body language when his game is not going well...
Bur look at Amorim's body language, since he joined as "Manchester United Head Coach" ! I hope than I'm bad prophet, and he will lead us back into the glory days, but I'm just not seeing it right now.

Credit the proactive sub at half time. If it is tactical and not medical.
I think it was pre-planned with how long Malacia has been away. But then he also got into a lot of good positions without really doing much.

Wow. He has soft body language?

@Sporting CP Fan would you think Rashford is more of an asset to us in the Trincao role that Amorim used while at Sporting? Just trying to figure out his role in the team

apparently his only motivation tactic is to make the players watch gladiator 1 and 2 on repeat. hence hojlund’s celebratoon.

Well done, you’ll fit in here.

I think he's doing the best he can with the incredibly dodgy personnel he has to work with here. We're pressing a lot more too.

Yeah until he's standing on the touchline oiled up and shirtless with a massive Yakuza back tattoo I'm not going to be impressed either.

Liking Maz at RCB and Shaw at LCB. He seems to want proper passers of the ball first and foremost.

He is playing too many players out of Position for my liking. Hope he is just experimenting as he is getting to know the players and waiting to buy some

Within 2 games you can see a clear idea and style of play developing. The team we’ve built for him is abysmal.

Agree mate. Can finally see an idea of a game model and his coaching in such a short time seems to be pretty good too.

Many of them have proved useless actually in their positions, so it makes little difference.

We have built this team for ten Hag though.
Hence the word “adapt” players should be able to change the way they play in a instant…yes it will take time, but there is something there, get rid of the few who won’t suit, Rash, Antony etc and bring a few more in and it will get better quickly

Atleast, it is showing us a template of the player qualities he wants in each position.

Is that the most possession we’ve had in a game this season?

Get glasses mate

Straight down the tunnel at FT, either he's not happy with something with the performance or Ed Sheeran is lurking around again.

A lot not to be happy with today to be fair. ETH would have been delighted with that performance.

A lot of encouraging signs also though. We could have easily had 4 or 5 goals.

There was a glimpse of what he wants to see today, I think. When it works it really works. The shape allowed the team to dominate at times.

Ugart - Mainoo
Bruno - Mount

Should be the way forward, need more control in the middle, better pressers up top and Bruno Mount should be able to feed Höjlund some passes.

This is why I rarely visit the caf these days.

I'm loving the early subs. Martinez didn't look happy. Brings some much needed competition.

A decisive manager, so far.

"New Member" I am not seeing you progress into the mains right now.

Only been here for a cup of coffee and he's already got whoever plays up front scoring. Miracle worker.

(Honestly it's far too early to say anything. Nice that he's getting straight to work in trying to establish his system and style of play)

I like what I'm seeing.

There seem to be numbers all over the pitch. It's just a case of identifying his best 11.

Let him cook.

Good management so far. We look dominant in this system. I can see this “idea” he was talking about.

Optimistic.

Another one will bite the dust, it seems. Probably it's a bit early to say, but Amorim looks way to soft for our team.If I was him I would look at the academy potential if I intent to implement some style or philosophy of the game in this team.Because he won't go anywhere with this lot.
Ffs
