Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

It's actually pretty interesting how fast a team of players can implement a new system with proper coaching. In 2016 Conte switched to a 3-4-3 during the last 25 mins of a game vs Arsenal. Granted, that side had some pretty good players. This is what Conte said in 2016:

Antonio Conte has explained what prompted him to change Chelsea's system following damaging defeats to title rivals Liverpool and Arsenal.
The Blues enjoyed an impressive start to life under Conte, winning three and drawing one of their opening four league games while generally lining up in a 4-3-3 formation.

Summer signing N'Golo Kante was tasked with shielding the back four with two of midfield trio Nemanja Matic, Oscar and Cesc Fabregas playing in front of the France international.
But a 2-1 home loss to Liverpool and the subsequent comprehensive defeat at Emirates Stadium in September prompted a reshuffle.

Though at that stage the game was beyond the Blues, Conte ordered his XI into a 3-4-3 formation for the final 25 minutes at Arsenal and has not looked back since.

Chelsea have recorded five straight Premier League victories without conceding since, scoring 16 goals.

Conte told the club's official site of his decision to change formation: "We started the season with another system because the idea in my mind was that I wanted to play with the 4-2-4, and then we switched with 4-3-3 and we played also in the same way like last year, 4-2-3-1.

"But I noticed in some circumstances we didn’t have the right balance because when you concede more goals than your opponent and even more chances to score a goal, it is never a good thing. For this reason, we switched to the new system of 3-4-3 and I think this is a good fit for our squad because also we have the strikers adapted for this system.
"I thought it would improve us offensively as well as defensively and we didn’t lose our offensive situation. In this way we have increased it because we scored many goals and created a lot of chances to score the goals and also if you maintain the clean sheet, I think this is the right way."

Btw, Conte had been at Chelsea for 5 months, when he decided to change the system.
Amorim has been at United for what, a week? Some peeps need to calm down a bit.

The pieces have been put in to place that will build a competitive football structure. This has happened relatively quick too. Ten Hag being shite was a bit of a bonus for us. It's been less than a year since INEOS stepped in and we have started to get it together. Our place in the table over this and last season is deserved but we all know that won't be tolerated anymore.
It's always been the attitude of the players and their entitlement that has fecked this club over. I've watched 5th tier international football teams with more pride/passion and football IQ than our players have shown over the last decade. Enough is enough.
We will get it together but it will require the club and the supporters being ruthless. Getting Rashford out of this club should be our main statement in January or the summer. He deserves his place in the clubs history but in my opinion he represents a habit this club has indulged on for too long.
I have no opinion on Amorim and that is probably a good thing for a fan of a club sitting where we are right now. Waiting for another SAF, Cantona/Keane or Class if 92 is just punching ourselves in the balls. If you are playing or coaching Manchester United and you are not productive in working towards a common goal then feck off.

One game in, and I already think we should play a system that fits our players. Amorim please prove me wrong.

This guy was defending Eth even though he was shit and now critical about new manager after first game.

It's quite shameless honestly.

He couldn't even wait a month.
And wants the new manager to repeat the same fecking mistakes again. Just like clockwork. These dogshit players need to be binned. The only system that fits these players is hoofball and that’s championship level football.

There are some people who are fans of managers, like that Poch fan Amadeus, and some who are actually fans of the club.

He going to be like arteta,he'll come in,get his system in place, give a chance to the so called fans favs or world class players like arteta did with ozil and auba,he will give them enough rope knowing very well they aren't suited or behind his system or tactics, then come summer, bye bye rashford and whoever else. I for one liked the first game, could see system and shape etc. Next six months will be fun. Definitely better than no identity and losing. At least if we are losing now we seem to have a system of play. Hope we aim to win Europa though. We should be in the mix.

It’s probably part of that. ETH’s biggest supporters are at least subconsciously hoping that they will be vindicated by the next manager doing worse (or ETH winning big at Real/Bayern/Barcelona/City who are bound to employ him next).

What a terrible life to live. They are so narcissistic that they would do anything to prove they were right, even if it is to watch the house burn. Same story after every failed manager. We've become a club of cults.

I do admit I can see myself becoming an Amorim fanboy. There’s something about him that just seems right.
