Interesting to see what Amorim can achieve in the coming months. I think our poor performances are 80% due to the players and 20% due to coaching. So we will see some improvement but not a revolution.

We've spent the last 18 months playing with one man in midfield. At the very least, you will not see the same gaps.

Yeah, one thing Ten Hag never came in for criticism for is training too light. Probably just your standard enthusiasm of doing something new. We are comparatively quite slow moving managers on, so when a new one does come in it's still a bit of a novelty for us.

I disagree. I think it’s 80% coaching and 20% players. If the players didn’t understand ETH message or style of play then that’s where it all went wrong. We have an halve decent team. Yes some players still need moving on but we should be at least around the 5th/4th mark in the league

I hope he is given some time and the fact he and the squad haven't had a pre-season and even a transfer window gets taken into account in the judgement. I hope he's a miracle worker, but we are 12th and that has hardly been through misfortune. Here's to hoping it's a positive start.

Just 3 winning streak, we will be back in top 4. Competition this season is not that high. The season is salvageable in many ways
It is, but this is going to be teams who have been playing a system and patterns of play for at a minimum of months against players who have been playing a system for days. I'm expecting better performances at a minimum but I won't be surprised if there is the occasional misfire along the way, which makes it hard to haul back points gaps.
