Yes. Hopefully he’ll be fit now.

A lot of it is a media driven agenda.Bruno is prone to being selfish. Especially his decision-making, when things are not going well. That can rub people the wrong way.
That's what I took from it. I posted a line up with Bruno in the CM next to Ugarte, but realistically, I think Mount is more disciplined to follow the instructions given for that role. Against certain opposition, that role won't need a defensive type of player. But a player with good work rate, discipline and the ability to find a pass through a team with a low block would work well. Mount could be one of the key players under Amorim, given he stays fit. Will be interesting to see where Mount plays in the system, CM or 10 behind the striker. I’d imagine the latter.
'I would be obliged to point out that his body language, if he were at a job interview, would be considered to be throwing up some red flags,' James added. 'His gesticulation is frequently incongruent, meaning it is in contrast to his verbal messages, creating an impression of self heckling.
'When he listens, he uses the engaging eye smile, and his mouth falls open slightly to suggest keenness and openness. But as he primes himself to reply, he turns his head to the side as well as his gaze. This could be down to translation issues. He could be looking away to focus on his English. But it looks evasive.
'When he is asked what gives him the belief he is the person to improve United's fortunes, he begins to scratch his wrist in an act of distraction, looking away to say "I believe in myself" and then wringing his hands, cracking his knuckles and meshing his fingers in a display of what looks like inner anxiety, and rubbing his thumbs on his fingers in a self-comfort ritual.
'When he speaks about the players his words sound encouraging and reassuring. "I truly believe in the players" is his verbal reply, but his non-verbal signals hint they should not be feeling too relieved just yet.'
Incredible
Can one be selfish otherwise?Bruno is prone to being selfish. Especially his decision-making, when things are not going well. That can rub people the wrong way.

Selfish? Wrong adjective I feel.Bruno is prone to being selfish. Especially his decision-making, when things are not going well. That can rub people the wrong way.
I guess some Mount haters will change their minds soon.
And this is why we paid ten million and gave Amorim a £6.5m contract to manage these issues. Ten Hag chose to play them no matter what and look where that got him and us? If he comes in, falls out with key players but raises the consistency of our performances and results who would care if Rashford is sulking on the bench? These quotes are good and all, but why do people magically think our team is suddenly going to keep the ball and run their arses off? Has he seen certain players strolling around, and other certain players who can't keep hold of the ball without seeing their names in lights? I'm under no illusions that Rashford and Bruno will remain as much a problem now as they did before. Bruno while his heart is in it, just isn't that guy who's suddenly going to change his game and become a possession type player. Rashford simply isn't good enough for us and never was and he checked out with the latest contract and will no doubt do the bare minimum until he inevitably falls out with the manager and gets a sulk on.
A lot of it is a media driven agenda.
His numbers are astonishing. Yes he has brainfarts but if he plays bad the whole team plays bad. Why is Bruno supposed to be delivering 10/10 performance every match? Some of it can be blamed at EtH as that's how he wanted to play. But we would all be envious if he played for someone else.
Thanks for the geography lesson. Didn't knew it was in Portugal having been there about 15 times. They are strange people.
Definitely, I think we will see a lot of sideways passing, the players will need to adapt over a few months. I’m happy we will go through the growing pain now.People should probably expect a risk averse approach with some boring possession until it all clicks
Toxic player power needs to end.I hope he will get the backing of not only INEOS but Berrada, Wilcox, and Ashworth should a few players decided to undermine his plans (because they're more hands on). He can't win that kind of battle alone. Even a club legend like Ole had to step down and the end pattern was always the same, some players basically stopped playing for the manager when the going gets really tough. United will never run out of players to play, even if that means relying on less talented options. As long as they work hard and not causing problems within the club, it's much better than relying on very talented ones that are hurting the club from with
He said 2 positions, one as 10 and the other as WB I guessWill be interesting to see where Mount plays in the system, CM or 10 behind the striker. I’d imagine the latter.
I think most will want to see us form a footballing identity on the pitch rather than win a random trophy. He will get time if it looks like we’re building towards something, unlike Eth’s football which looked like we’d worked on nothing for 2 years
I think we have a potentially world class team but we've been poorly coached.
I don't think we need 3 windows and another 500 million, I think we need a clear system and the right coach and we'll be competing.
Did they even listen to what he said
Sorry if someone already posted this. My first impression of Amorim is the same. Who knows how his reign will go but it's nice to have good first impression. Won't count for much if it doesn't translate to the pitch of course.
Basically it's a north and south portuguese dynamic thing. No worries mate.I guess I don’t get the joke
To be fair Bracarenses are Moroccan and the Vimaranenses are the real Spaniards.
Guardian headline yesterday was "Amorim says Manchester United years off title win" or something yo that effect. He did technically say that but it wasn't what he implied or meant. So here it begins for him where the tiniest of his action, choice of words, body language, tactics, etc. is probed, dissected, accentuated and hyped up to the stars both positively/negativity by every footballing entity from journalists, ex-players, fans, etc. alike. Hope he had realised while signing up that he's landing himself in the eye of the football's most lethal storm.
Wish he withstands and wrestlers through the enormous pressure coming his way from all the directions and initially focuses primarily only on elevating the on-the-pitch performances of the team collectively and turning these player into mentality monsters (a paramount task).
You can spin any answer to that question negatively. “Says they can win it this year” - stupid, next year also seems far fetched. 3 years? No pressure mate. Etc…. Can’t win.Guardian headline yesterday was "Amorim says Manchester United years off title win" or something yo that effect. He did technically say that but it wasn't what he implied or meant.

Well predictably, every freaking media outlet and their marketing team jumping on the United news bandwagon at the quickest, knowing very well that the silliest headline with a word 'Amorim' in it gonna sell like hot cakes. So hoard up as much garbage news as possible while the new manager vogue lasts.Guardian headline yesterday was "Amorim says Manchester United years off title win" or something yo that effect. Kind of. Talk shite went full turbo with Bruno moaning and gesticulating. All the shows had to mention it again and again.I don't follow much media these days. Is their a media campaign against Bruno?
Absolutely, I dont expect some fluent joga bonito tomorrow - but it would be really nice if Amorim can be successful on the pitch as well as in front of the cameras.
Do you think that it's undeserved?Kind of. Talk shite went full turbo with Bruno moaning and gesticulating. All the shows had to mention it again and again.
Gary Neville didn't help matters when he said he wants come off during Liverpool hammering.
Somehow Bruno gets painted as Pantomime villain.
If you didnt know before what Amorim was doing in Portugal, you must have been living under a rock.Ok, but that’s not so strange given that few of us follow Portuguese football, I think. Now people have seen and heard him the excitement is very understandable.
Are you sure about that? He was the front runner in the who do you want as manager poll on here, after Eth got sacked. I chose Frank in the poll. I knew nothing about Amorim, but when I saw how much fans were voting for him, I started to do research on him. When ETH was looking like he was going to get sacked pre FA cup final, almost no one wanted Amorim in as his replacement. Funny how minds have changed.

The fact that he was head n shoulders above everybody else on the poll, kinda told me the fan base highly rated him.
