Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

Bloke is still shaking his head. Can't believe how bad some of these are.

At least we see some ideas. Not sure if he made right choice with the personnel vs roles, but the way Eriksen, Casemiro and Evans played today - I don't think there's a formation that would've worked anyway.

Hope he realises how unsuited much of this team are to playing football a top team should.

He has mad wrong choices in attack, he needs to start Amad instead of Garnacho. Garnacho is a moments player at the moment

Hojlund never takes responsibility. Seems to think his roal is to facilitate or support others which is not enough at a big club.

Nothing will make Rashford press, nothing will give Case or Eriksen legs, nothing will teach Bruno how to keep the ball. Doesn’t matter what we do or who the coach is. Many of these players should not be starting games for us.

Agree.

While we all want to see a transformation and we should hopefully see an identity this season, people also have to accept the limitations and lack of quality of this squad. As does Amorim, if he wants to succeed.

Maz is too good a player to be playing as a 3rd CB. He should be a wing back in this system.

Poor bastard's transplanted hair follicles will get a serious workout over the next 6-12 months.

Full backs need to ATTACK and not turn back.

That's where I think United need to get top class in the summer.

Can't fault him for anything really. The shape looks fine, and he made the right subs, but some players aren't good enough.

Like all our previous managers, he will fail if we don't get the player recruitment right.

Nearly every transfer window this past decade was praised at the time, but you can count on one hand the amount of players we've brought in during that period who were press resistant. We have a blind spot when it comes to these players.

If we continue to fail at identifying these players, there's no hope for any manager.

That’s true, but I am under no illusions the players will pick up his system and tactics overnight, which will probably result in performances that are more erratic than dominant.
I'll take erratic over coasting along everyday.

He looks distraught

Look of a man who realises he’s got a squad of shite

Needs to be ruthless with moving on players that don't fit his system. I can't imagine he wants a midfield of case and eriksen. Or Rashford who is scared of any hard work.
