Arsenal seem as if they've backed out. Chelsea reportedly aren't willing to pay the fee despite being interested in him. Barca see him as a plan B to Coutinho if they can't get him. United sending mixed signals similarly to what was done surrounding Lukaku.

Good player on his day. Our right wing is weak with Mata player there. However, Mahrez would not be my first choice. Rather we go for Gelson Martin, who is a better alternative in my own opinion.

Not sure why he would go to Barcelona. He's not displacing Messi, Suarez or Dembele in attack. Only way he plays if Messi moves deeper in a sort of mf role and Mahrez gets the right wing.

Agree completely. Can see it happening though. Draxler was the only other Sanchez replacement they were really linked to, and Draxler's digging his feet in to stay at PSG so can't see him moving.
What I don't get is why he'd leave for Arsenal, rather he just stay at Leicester then. Arsenal is a dumpster fire. If anything you'd imagine he'd want to go to a big club capable of genuinely challenging for the league to regain that motivation to reach the level he did 2 seasons ago. Don't think he taps into that on Arsenal who look like a sinking ship.
Given the amount of money Roma just dropped on Schick I doubt it's them, the Arsenal suggestion with Sanchez going to City seems quite likely with Chelsea as the other possible destination IMO.

Probably the draw of living in London and Arsenal being a bigger club than Leicester would be enough for him. Apparently he wants to stay in England as his family is settled there, but was also open to going to Roma, which wouldn't have been a significant step up.
There was a lot of fuss about him to us before it happened. Currently there isn't much about Mahrez to us, I don't see it happening.
But then again, where are all the journos linking him to Arsenal? Maybe it's not over yet
