Once Rashford is gone he'll be one of the next victimsWork in progress. Boggles the mind some choose to pile on this kid when the game was lost by Bayinder and Martinez. Dalot and Antony had worse games imo.
Did you start watching him today? What is he good at?
Yup. His level is Atalanta, where he came from.Scoring goals in the EL against poor EL teams. Obviously not United standard.
Victim of what? Being criticised for not being good enough? Yeah I would expect soOnce Rashford is gone he'll be one of the next victims
Højlund is an excellent finisher.
Not headers or using his right foot.Højlund is an excellent finisher.
Nah, of being hounded out to the point he just won't even want to play for us anymore. Criticism is all well and good, because performances deserve that, but it never stops there does it? It's never "Not his best game, needs to do better in next game, he's gotta fight for his place" it's "He's f***ing shit, championship level, needs to be sold immediately"Victim of what? Being criticised for not being good enough? Yeah I would expect so
From five yards.Højlund is an excellent finisher.
Tonight wasn't good enough from him. There were multiple crosses where he made the wrong run or no run at all.
Well said!Nah, of being hounded out to the point he just won't even want to play for us anymore. Criticism is all well and good, because performances deserve that, but it never stops there does it? Even though he's played well for a few games in a row now. But one average match and nope, cannon fire him into the sun despite other players playing far worse.
So what if people call him shit on an Internet message board? If he comes on here and reads it and his reaction is that he never wants to play for United again, why would we want such a weak player?Nah, of being hounded out to the point he just won't even want to play for us anymore. It is again all in area of opinion not abuse. People say for Dalot, Malacia, Zirkzee, Lindelof, Casemiro etc....that they are "shit", "garbage" and "need to be sold". That is just an opinion. Yeah, saying that someone is shit is probably harsh but it is common phrase in football.Nah, of being hounded out to the point he just won't even want to play for us anymore. I don't know why some of you are so touchy about Hojlund. You think he is/will be good and that is fine. But respect that other people have different opinion.
I have soft spot for Zirkzee and i think he is better than Hojlund. Did you see me overreacting (and tagging) other posters who think that he is "shit" and "worst United signing" after his good games? No.
Come on, you don't believe in that. When everything is either garbage or elite the level of discussion ends on twitter levels. This forum is usually better than that. But there are some players where people are clearly wanting them to fail.

Why the hell would we want anyone to fail? It makes no sense. I'd fecking love Hojlund to transform into the second coming of Brazilian Ronaldo. When everything is either garbage or elite the level of discussion ends on twitter levels. That is BS. You want to say that some fans would rather see player playing badly just because they don't rate that player? Sorry man, but it is complete nonsense.I do.

But I'm a realist, not a delusional dreamer. I say it as I see it, and Hojlund, relative to the level we aspire to reach, is rubbish. Even at our current, uninspiring level, he's mediocre
He'll be 22 in a couple of months. He is the same age as Cole Palmer and Jude Bellingham, he shouldn't be that raw..He is a young raw talent. He has clear weak points but he is also extremely clinical. Ideally he was back up to a ready made striker instead of having to learn while leading the line.

Come on Pogue, I said 22 not 18. And I didn't say taking the world by storm either. I said he shouldn't be that raw. Your reply ludicrous, not my logic. That’s ludicrous logic. Like writing every footballer off who isn’t taking the world by storm ay aged 18, because of Yamina Lamal.
