Just last year Højlund was deemed to foul Rodri(?) in the box. Obviously that sort of contact wasn't a penalty for the rest of the season.Thats exactly what he means and its complete BS. Referees sometimes allow a little more before cards come out in the big games because they don't want to ruin them early and they understand the stakes and the jitters the players might have.
You don't ignore a stonewall penalty in the meat of the game though because its a big game. Thats just BS. I reckon 75% of penalties given this season are softer than than one. That was a penalty every day of the week.
