We might just about be OK v Fulham but it means the derby is a write off. Rashford at n9 just not giving a feck,no hold up play and no pressing. Then Antony instead of Diallo on the wing.

Well if that just ain't aren't isn't.

Garnancho left, Rashford through the middle and Armadillo on the right.

Scott #10 and Bruno right, at least give us some physical presence up front.

Relax lads, we’ll just put Rashy up top and Antony out wide. Sorted! :wenger:
Strangely I feel confident we will actually manage to get results in his absence as well that is assuming no further injuries going forward .
But big loss just when he was building up ahead of steam this happens .

Great just as he was in form and the team was doing alright. Who starts upfront then? Rashford with Garnacho and Antony either side. Ruins our whole front line that. I’d go Garnacho, Rashford and Amad

If it’s Antony over Amad im done.

Also no one wants to hear it but the amount of non contact muscle injuries we get under ETH isn’t a fluke.

Un-fecking-believable. Could not script the injuries this season, and absolutely no one to replace him. The Derby and probably another few games a write off now then.

Crunch time to save the season and then this happens.

Shows how good he has been that this is absolutely gutting.

Oh FFS just as he's finding form

Wtf is causing so many injuries it's a serious issue and needs investigating and sorting because it's fecking us over.

Is this our medical department, training practices or what? This is such shite.
Definitely seems to be an issue somewhere, and it’s putting a hard ceiling on what we can achieve. When Liverpool won the league they had virtually no major injuries all season and could start pretty much every match with their strongest 11. We’ve been able to do that for only the last couple of matches, and now that’s basically over for the season with Shaw out. This crap is so frustrating.

The injuries are now happening everywhere, be it say Villa or Liverpool.

Problem is we had terrible luck in the first half of this season with injuries too.

Probably the best time with there being only 2 league games (assuming he makes it back for Everton game). 3 points from those 2 was always very likely and if we can achieve that it might not be too bad. Still it's a big blow, no question.

Absurd that he is our only striker and this like the left back position highlights the amateurish way in which we have been run.

Well, at least now that Garnacho is going to play on the left, we should move Dalot on the left since they both have worked well together.

One of the first things Sir Jim needs to do is investigate how in the name of god we have picked up so many injuries, it’s abnormal.

Is it the medical staffs fault, the manager for overtraining them or the actual playing surface at Carrington? Whatever the f*ck it is it needs to be looked into.

Ye definitely should be Amad but we know it won’t be as he can’t even get on of the bench in the last few games. Maybe the injuries are down to ETH working them to hard or making them do extra running. The players won’t be use to it.

Liverpool are now starting to get decimated by injuries. When Liverpool won the league the players had just had multiple months rest and no CL. It was lockdown if you remember.

You just made me realise that this will mean Antony weedling his way back into the starting lineup. Like a turd that won’t flush. Ffs

I think it’s hard training + incredibly high intensity style (especially for attackers)+ general fatigue during the season.

Exactly this.

That's that for this season. We have 3 attackers, one of whom is out of form. The 2 guys in decent nick, one is injured who happens to be our only legitimate striker. We can't catch a break this season.

Depressing. The lad was on fire and we had finally put a bit of a run together. Some otherwise winnable games now look like a struggle for us over the next few weeks, and of course we are also facing city without a number of key players now. Will be missing the cup match too which may make that a struggle for us.

Well if Sir Jim and his team doesn’t realise how poor our squad options are in the striker department he soon will.

How can teams like Brighton and Villa have the following options ;
Minomoto, Wellbeck, E Ferguson, A Fati, J Pedro, J Enscio, Simon Adingra, A Lallana (Brighton)

O Watkins, J Ramsey, L Bailey, M Diaby, J Duran, M Rogers, Tielemans. J M

and United have - Martial(always injured), Antony (crap), Rashford (out of form), Garnaucho(19), Amad(never used), Omari forson(19) , Hojlund(now injured) , Mount (injured ) and Bruno

Heads in the medical department, recruitment need to roll very quickly !
when will the numb skulls understand goals win matches and we are 30 short ever season since ETH joined?

Any fan that still doesn’t think that our first two recruits this summer must be a new left back and a new established CF.
