The coaching and/or medical teams at United are doing something to contribute to the ridiculous number of injuries. We're not even playing an excessive amount of matches to use as an excuse

The number of games played in relation to his age and style of play makes a muscle injury not that strange after all. Sadly.

That's top four gone. Ten Hag would do well to start talking to estate agents. Cos I can't see him staying when we fail to finish in the top four.

3-5-2. We finally have a surplus of midfielders which we should utilise. Having 2 randoms up front is better than just leaving a single player out of position up there alone. McT and Garnacho might be ok for a game or two. We just need to grind it out. More realistically it’ll be the same tactics as always with Rashford looking not arsed, as usual

I know loads have said it, but just stick the Scottish Player up top and see what happens.

Can’t have Rashford stinking the place out as striker and we can’t have McT lolloping about in the middle.

We have no wingbacks, barely have enough CB's and no strikers.

And that's overlooking the fact you're switching to a new formation and system that you haven't spent most of the season at least partially preparing for matches with.

It would be madness.

Joke the amount of injuries the club gets. Clearly something being done wrong. Gone on for years.

Imagine a club with the most expensive squad in world of football relaying on a unproven young danish lad...

I’ve got a sneaky feeling ETH is going to turn to Forsson or even Diallo as a false 9 which he has hinted towards before.

The amount of injuries we’ve had this season is ridiculous. What the hells going on? Are we making the lads run 20k as a warm up in training or something?

Yeah the season is fecked
To be fair it could have been worse.

As bad as Rashford is as a striker, we may just get away with it against Fulham, Forest and Everton, Sheff Utd. The city game would have been tough to take a point even with Hojlund.

If we were to lose Hojlund for 3 weeks in the season, these 3 weeks would possibly be the best 3 weeks to lose him. Hopefully we can get him back before then.

Anyway, Lindelof at LB. Rashford as ST. Antony as RW. This is the stuff dreams are made of. :nervous:

Just after I bet us to get top 4 too. Fecking Hell.

ten Hag must run these players into the ground during the week.

There seems to be a lot of injuries across the board. But certain teams are better equipped to handle injuries than others. Real Madrid is a good example in that regard, it's just a pity that our back-up #9 isn't reliable.

Imagine Scotty putting in a hat trick once finally unleashed as a proper 9. The strain would be hard to bear!

Yeah. The difference certainly is other top clubs are more equipped to deal with absences. Madrid will be fine without Bellingham considering their embarrassment of riches in midfield.

Flipping heck.
There goes the Antony for LB experiment :nono:

Given that Garnacho is in great form on the right, I think I'd rather keep him there, and try Antony on the left.

If anything, playing Antony on the left will stop him cutting inside and blazing it over the bar. To his credit, he also works hard so may offer a bit more protection to Lindelof on the left.

More than likely it will be Rashford in the middle, Garnacho left and Antony on the right. Shitty situation as I think Garnacho is much better on the right and Rashford hasn't played well up front on his own in a very long time.

Serves them right for leaving themselves so short. I'd say that's the season done if it's any longer than the weeks quoted.

Generally speaking, so many (international) games, what do they expect

Thats why you need more than one striker in the squad. Relying on one player at the level we are trying to compete is madness.

Of course, the might be counting Martial as a striker…

When will blame for all these injuries finally drop on medical staff? For some random injuries you can blame bad luck or something but it is obvious now that something is wrong with either medical staff or Erik's trainings.

The media only highlights the injuries that their darlings Liverpool have.
