They are better athletes than their elders but worse at everything else. And I don't think that I'm exaggerating, they can't pass, tackle, dribble, shoot and most of them never take a decent decision in open space.

Going to be honest with you, I'm watching the game in the background but the few times I've seen him on the ball, he's playing ahead of Mainoo and Rice in the central positions playmaking directly outside the box and when carrying the ball from deep. He can easily vacate it and ask for the ball in the box but it would be very risky. I think he's doing a decent job for his role and being careful with his runs.

Gallagher started 1 game and was hooked at HT for Mainoo, who started every game since. The Gallagher hate just feels too forced at this point
I actually think you're on to something. Been thinking and saying the same for a couple of years now. Athletic ability is valued much more than actual footballing brain and ability. Which is making the games and players feel very robotic.
